I was born and raised in Texas and have always been inspired by the landscapes and beautiful nature of Central Texas. I started exploring photography in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2013, before my father passed away, that I truly started to dive into photography. He purchased my first Canon camera for me and I fell in love from there. I started my business doing photoshoots in 2015, and I have grown from there. I am registered with our local parks and authorized to do any photoshoots within the parks. I eventually want to own my very own studio. My family tells me that my dad would be proud of me. I am per hour on locations

Hey there! I'm Matthew, a veteran photographer with over 25 years of experience behind the lens specializing in budget-friendly, high-quality photography based out of Leander, Texas. I have been shooting since I was about ten years old on 110 cameras, in high school I learned to shoot on a 35 MM camera. Professionally I accepted my first paid shoot in 1996, a boudoir session for the girlfriend turned wife of a friend deploying overseas with the Army. I earned $50 and a six-pack of beer for a one-hour session on a Canon AE1 35 MM film camera I bought at a yard sale.

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I started my photography journey taking photos of my wife. Watching her come to life with confidence was the greatest feeling in the world. Hi friend, I'm Katelyn! Thinking back, I really have always loved documenting my life through photos, even if I didn't realize that was what I was doing. It all started with me begging my parents to take me to CVS to grab a Kodak disposable camera, using all the film to take photos of anything I could, getting it developed and creating my own personal photo albums that I still have packed away at my parents home. In 2011, my mom purchased the coolest Nikon D5000 DSLR camera (which I eventually took over, sorry mom!!!) and I never looked back.
