KatieDid Florals is a bespoke floral company located in the Heart of Old West End Historic District in Danville, VA. The company and owner Katie Thomas is passionate about using flowers to bring joy into the world. We are honored to share their beauty with our couples on their wedding day! But more importantly, we believe in the power of flowers to transcend time; their beauty creates memories and traditions that last a lifetime. Your life with flowers begins during your wedding floral planning process, but I know that they can take such a hold in your heart, that flowers will be woven into your life forever.

Absolutely fantastic! As a bride who doesn’t have much experience with flowers at all she took a vision and created something absolutely incredible. I truly didn’t understand how much of a difference the flowers made but with her work it was so gorgeous. People didn’t stop talking about it. She was flexible, responsive and overall couldn’t have booked a better florist.

Foraged & Cut Flowers

Lynchburg, VA

I started my flower venture at a local flower shop in 2012. There I received formal training and quickly moved up to head wedding designer. After several years of focusing my skills in retail floristry I was able to fulfill my dream of working on a flower farm. I was lucky enough to design weddings with 3 acres of flowers I helped plant with my own hands. It was the most rewarding experience! I love working with flowers and want to stay true to the organic farm flowers I've come to love.

Natasha is the absolute best at what she does and made my wedding florals spectacular! I didn't know much about flowers, I just knew the general theme/colors I wanted and she knew exactly what to put together and it all looked amazing!!

    • Starts at $500

I began my business in 2019 with my own wedding because I had a vision for my bridesmaid bouquets that couldn’t be achieved easily with real flowers. After my wedding, people started asking me to make florals for their wedding. I liked the idea of saving brides money, while not having to compromise their vision.

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Misha's work is absolutely incredible, and I feel so lucky to have had her as my vendor. When I first started wedding planning I had florals low on my priority list, thinking I would DIY them myself or forego them altogether. Finding Misha changed all of that, because I instantly fell in love with her style and work. From our first video call to every message in between, it was clear that Misha is the most kindhearted soul and pours so much love into her work. I trusted her completely with my extremely vague vision of what I wanted, and she delivered tenfold. Seeing all the flowers walking into our wedding was magical - they were such a beautiful and perfect addition to the day. I love her use of dried textures, and as a special bonus we were able to keep my bridesmaids' stunning floral hoops to repurpose as home decor since most of the elements were dried. Misha's work speaks for itself but I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is to work with - both professionally and personally, because when you book with Misha you're also gaining an amazing friendship. I cannot recommend her enough!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    Oklahoma City, OK
    • Serves Amherst, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

I loved my experience with flower moxie! From picking out the flowers on the website to arranging them with my sisters the day before the wedding - their business model allowed me to have the flowers of my dreams and save thousands on our small wedding. Flower moxie was super easy to communicate with and made the pickup process very easy, as well as great instructions on flower care. Would highly highly recommend!

    Something Borrowed Blooms

    Lafayette, LA
    • Starts at $250
    • Serves Amherst, VA

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

I was so stressed about my flowers coming on time (we got married just after the 4th of July) and they came super early! SB Blooms was sure to ship them early due to the holiday! SB was very prompt to answer all of my emails and was very detail oriented. I was worried about the quality of the whole order, but I don’t regret my choice for rentals one bit! I loved my flowers and I truly believe they were far better than any real ones I was looking at. They were so full and bouncy the whole night and they pictured beautifully!

I am so thankful that I used Wood & Word Blooms for my wedding flowers. Jen was so patient and kind while I obsessed over what colors to have for my flowers since my main color was sage and that isn't ideal for florals (In my opinon). From the moment I started planning my wedding I knew I wanted something that was not real because I have a lot of allergies and I wanted to be able to keep it forever. When I came across Wood & Word Blooms, I first did a class. Once I did that, I knew this was the perfect place for my wedding florals. I am so grateful that I can still have my bouquet and other florals weeks to years after my wedding. Every time I see them hanging I smile because it reminds me of my special day.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Brittney was an amazing person to work with! She was great at providing all the information for the rentals such as what was provided in the package, the selection of flowers, and when we came into her store to see the flowers, I was happy with what she had. Super nice gal along with her staff, and being a Christian like me was the icing on the cake! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for rent flowers for their wedding or any special occasion. Thank you very much!

Joseph and Rob did all of our flowers and day of coordination and I truly cannot say enough good things. They understood my vision from the start of planning and executed it perfectly. I was brought to tears each time I saw the beautiful flowers they did for our bouquets, the ceremony arch and the reception. Our wedding went off with no issues thanks to Joseph and Rob and they were so easy to work with. I would highly recommend using Riverwood Designs for your wedding!

I can’t recommend Bloom Culture enough. We scheduled a consultation call with them roughly 3 months before our wedding date. Heather was super kind, helpful and professional. She promptly sent us a proposal that fit our budget and matched exactly what we had discussed during our consultation! The resources they shared with us were super helpful, and 3 days before our wedding the flowers arrived in perfect condition! Even though some of my bridesmaids were nervous about DIYing their bouquets, everyone’s turned out so beautiful and unique!!
