We had our wedding at Steeple Hall earlier this month and we have not stopped hearing the rave reviews about Nik and the team at Steeple hall. Our day went without a hitch and we could have not asked for a better venue and team than the ones at Steeple Hall. On top of everything the food was so delicious friends and family are planning on going back to have the food served because it was that good. We cannot thank Steeple hall enough for making our wedding a dream!

We had our dream wedding at Grill 28 in September, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly attentive, making the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. One of the best things about this venue is that it provides all the necessities, including tables and chairs. We brought in some of our own chairs for the reception while using theirs for the ceremony. They also offer a wide selection of linens and even the option to add an extra tent to accommodate more guests. What makes this venue truly special is the flexibility to curate your wedding exactly as you envision it. Nestled on the beautiful Pease Golf Course, it’s a hidden gem—a true diamond in the rough! Unlike many wedding venues, we never felt like there was any price gouging. Everything was very reasonable and transparent. The accessibility of this venue is also a huge plus. It’s wheelchair-friendly, and the main tent is set on a concrete pad, so you don’t have to worry about wet or muddy grass—a huge relief if the weather is unpredictable! We had designated rooms to get ready in, and the food was absolutely out of this world! There are multiple spaces to utilize, including the garden patio—perfect for our cocktail hour—and the main tent for our reception. Another bonus is that the venue is owned by the same company as Popovers, so we were able to order our cake directly and even do a tasting! The menus are fully customizable, which made everything feel even more personal. Another big plus is the ample parking, making it easy for all of our guests. We truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Grill 28. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers both beauty and exceptional service, this is the place!

Finding the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner felt like searching for a hidden gem. We needed a venue that could comfortably hold 150 guests, offered a delicious menu, and had a charming atmosphere. Thankfully, our hunt led us to Portsmouth Gas Light's 3rd floor! From the moment we stepped into this beautiful downtown building (conveniently close to a parking garage!), we knew it was special. But what truly made the night unforgettable was Michelle, the Function Manager. Michelle was an absolute rockstar! She helped us navigate everything with ease, from handling dietary restrictions to selecting the perfect menu options and ensuring all our needs were met. The entire function team was professional and attentive, making the whole evening flow seamlessly. And let's not forget the food! It was incredible. Our guests raved about everything they tried. We highly recommend Portsmouth Gas Light for any event. If you're looking for a place with charm, delicious food, and amazing staff, look no further! We can’t say enough about Dionna, the event coordinator. She made the entire planning process so smooth and enjoyable. Communicating with her was effortless—she was always prompt, professional, and incredibly open to our ideas. We had a vision for the day that felt a bit outside the box, and she embraced it wholeheartedly, helping us bring it to life in a way that felt personal and magical. And the food—wow. The location was also ideal—just minutes from Portsmouth, NH, which made it easy for out-of-town guests and gave us access to even more fun weekend activities. We just got married at Spinelli’s this past fall, we had our ceremony and reception here and we couldn’t be happier to have chosen this for our wedding! During the planning process i worked with Alex, who was so helpful with recommendations and ideas and was always fast with responding. Our ceremony was held outside and was beautiful! The lake was such a perfect backdrop and our photos came out stunning! On the day of, the staff was very attentive and friendly to us and our guests. The space was beautiful and the food was delicious! 10/10 recommend having your wedding here for the food. We were so happy to hear positive feedback from all of our guests about everything and overall so happy we chose to get married here!

FULL DISCLOSURE- I am actually the Leavitt's Events Coordinator, however this season I simultaneously became a Leavitt Bride. I was genuinely excited to host my wedding at the theatre, but admittedly I also imagined it would give me some helpful insight for work- letting me know where points for improvement were in both the space and the process. What I found out was pleasantly affirming-- we truly had AN INCREDIBLE wedding at The Leavitt. Our ceremony was down the road on Ogunquit Beach, and we paraded up to the theatre like New Orleans met New England! Our guests were greeted with an oyster bar & bubbly and the night went off without a hitch from there. Live music was a big priority for us, and we had a 5-piece band set up on the main stage. After we had our first dance & speeches up there, the space transformed! With the help of professional sound & lighting technicians, our reception felt like a tried and true concert. People are still talking about the ambiance and vibe to this day. The vision for our wedding was to throw a giant party for the people in our lives who helped us get to where we are today. We wanted a space where people could eat, drink, dance & repeat all night. We did not want to get weighed down in other details that were less important to us. I think The Leavitt perfectly mirrored & supported our vision and priorities, and we now have a wedding we TRULY loved as a lifelong memory. The Banks was the perfect choice for our small wedding. From the very first conversation, the team was kind, responsive, and detail-oriented. We chose the Fireplace Room and it was cozy and perfect for our group. We used the same space for both the ceremony and dinner, and it was great because it made everything so easy for us and our guests. Matt and Mariah made the whole planning process extremely easy and enjoyable, they were incredibly accommodating to any of our requests and made sure the whole weekend went off without a hitch. Mariah answered every single question I had regarding rentals and even double checked that all the pieces we rented arrived the day before our wedding. We knew the most important aspects to us were our guests experience and the food and drinks were above and beyond what we could have imagined.
