For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Soirée Event Gallery is a modern wedding venue located in Birmingham, Alabama. The venue offers a versatile and luxurious ambiance with its classic ballrooms that can make each couple’s wedding day special. Soirée can accommodate up to 550 guests, with its two indoor event spaces: the Grand Ballroom, which features artworks by local artists, a marble entrance, crystal chandeliers, and ebony hardwood floors; and the Royal Ballroom, with polished walls and recessed lighting, great for a classic event space. Soirée hosts wedding events such as ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. Couples can choose from a list of preferred caterers, and Soirée offers bartenders who can serve at an open, capped or cash bar, with house beer, wine, and liquor options, or specialty/premium options available upon request.

Rowan Oaks, a fully restored historic homestead, offers the perfect location for your entire wedding event; rehearsal, wedding, and reception. Indoors we offer comfortable seating in two dining areas, three parlors, and a fully furnished kitchen. Our outdoor space provides several options for your wedding service; a raised pergola, a large patio, or a spacious lawn. We provide 50 white chairs for your use as well as several large tables to use outdoors.

Mathews Manor was built in 1930 and first opened as the Forks Inn Restaurant. It then became a private residence and was purchased by the current owners Debbie & Harold Mathews in 1999. After some remodeling, Rebecca Gardens first opened in 2001 for weddings and special events. Grace Hall was built and opened in 2003 to fulfill the desire to offer space for larger weddings & events. Across the street, Micah's Meadow held its' first wedding in 2009 and offers a peaceful outdoor setting for your ceremony.

The Cedars is an event venue and vacation home rental that is part of a working cattle farm. Built in 1890 in the Greek Revival Farmhouse style, it still sits in its original location today. Early in 2019, the restoration of the original Nathan Bryan Whitfield, Sr. home began with the vision to return the historic farm home to a public place for sharing its beauty, family history and its agricultural significance with the community and others.By 1890, Dr. Whitfield’s son, Nathan built The Cedars, naming it for a grove of cedar trees that grew between the home and the road, which is now U.S. Highway 80. In April of 2009, Alabama Governor, Bob Riley, and Commissioner of Agriculture, Ron Sparks, designated The Cedars as an Alabama Century Farm. Being recognized as a Century Farm means that the farm has been in operation as a family farm for over 100 years and has played a significant role in Alabama’s history.

Originally built in 1914 by the Free Masons, and served as their meeting place for much of the last century before it was purchased by the current owners, whose mission is to restore historic buildings in Birmingham. Woodrow Hall offers a large foyer and beautiful banquet hall with exposed brick, high ceilings with huge wooden beams as well as modern amenities such as plasma screen TV, LCD projector and modern lighting. This remarkable reception venue is full of unique architecture, character and warmth. It offers a timeless location for parties, reunions, corporate events and training programs.
