Hi, I’m Jillian, a wedding florist serving the beautiful Gulf Coast. Named after my daughter, Zoë, I opened Fleur Zoë Florals after 15+ years in the wedding industry with the goal of bringing incredible weddings to life - and no wedding vision is complete without beautiful flowers! I live and breathe weddings and absolutely LOVE love. I am married to an incredible man and a Mom to awesome kids. I have a wide range of interests. I love sushi, Led Zeppelin, Forensic Files, folk art, traveling, and exploring creative outlets. I would LOVE to hear about your wedding plans. Let's meet for coffee or have a skype session. Let's be wedding BFF's!

I can’t say enough about how amazing Jillian was to work with. It didn’t take much and she already had completely capture my vision for the florals for my wedding. She was very kind to explain the color ranges of certain flowers that I was interested in and let me know if that range didn’t include a shade that fit in with my color scheme. She helped me find a way to stay in budget without sacrificing any of the arrangements I wanted. She brought the romance and the whimsy with her floral designs and I could not have had a better experience. I’m so very thankful to Jillian.

Ider, AL

Edit: we moved towns to increase our walk ins and changed our name to Lydias Lavender Lane. The name change was due to wanting to honor the memory of my Granddaughter Lydia who graced this earth with her presence for 12 short hours but made a big impact on our lives. Check us out over there on that Zola listing! We’d love to be a part of your big day! Opened in 2016, Thistle & Vine has became a staple in the small rural town of Ider, Alabama. Lydia's Lavender Lane was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. From the very first interaction, their communication was timely, sweet, caring, and honest - putting us at ease throughout the planning process. Flowers by Amanda
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Deatsville, AL

I pride myself on not being a luxury-only floral designer. Though my extensive training and experience, natural talent, attention to detail and my command of flawless event design give me the ability to create luxury designs for clients with unlimited budgets, I truly believe that every bride and every client deserves the wedding or event of their dreams. I try to make the planning process as enjoyable and relaxed as possible for my clients...it is my job to take the stress out of floral and event planning. Flowers by Amanda has built a reputation as one of the premier wedding florists in Montgomery, the Tri-county area and the Southeast!

Over the course of the last few years Flowers By Amanda has been called in to add her own unique touch to our VIP events for the guests. We simply give her ideas, pictures and a vision and what she brings is absolutely mind blowing! She has created a 3’ 3D elephant for the Arabian Nights themed event(all from flowers, our guests couldn’t stop taking pictures with it). During our 80s themed prom event Under the Sea she brought in live fish for the centerpieces and crafted giant light up jellyfish to hang above the tables. The flower arrangements from flowing out of mini pianos to towering over the guests for a photo backdrop are truly one of a kind and breathtaking. Her expertise and eye for detail is what has us coming back to her for each and every event. I could write for days about all the events but you should see it for yourself!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (93 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Alabama

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I were nervous about doing our own flowers, but Flower Moxie made the whole process feel manageable. The team was easy to talk to and really listened to what we wanted, never making us feel rushed or judged for our DIY approach. They broke down everything into simple steps and provided gorgeous blooms that looked like they came from a high-end florist, but at a price that actually fit our budget. On the day of the wedding, our arrangements turned out beautiful and our guests kept asking who our florist was. We were so proud that we'd created them ourselves with Flower Moxie's guidance. If you're thinking about doing your own flowers, I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.

We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

I wanted my florals to match my vision and she and I have been collaborating, emailing back and forth, and brainstorming for what feels like ages. She did SO, SO well! I cannot sing her praises enough. If you book her for your wedding, know that your vision will come to life exactly as you'd like, and that your voice and opinions will be heard! The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Ronna was our floral artist for our wedding on 9/27/25. She was the best vendor we worked with! She was so communicative with us, really making sure our color and flower design preferences were what we wanted. Not only that, she was a huge support system for me throughout the entire planning process. She drove 100 miles the day before our wedding to set up and install. She also designed our centerpieces!
