Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. Whether you are looking for a memorable barn wedding venue for your special day, a unique event space for your corporate meeting, or a beautiful place to celebrate one of life's special moments, the Texas Rock House is the place to be! Spring Lake is a picturesque site situated at the headwaters of the San Marcos River, and there are several options for your special day. We have spaces available at the Headwaters Green, the Meadow, or on our Rooftop overlooking Spring Lake's crystal waters. As a special treat to your guests, you can even reserve our historic Glass Bottom Boats! Spring Lake is an OUTDOOR venue with no cover. Clients are welcome to rent tents to accommodate their guests. There is one small conference room available, but seating and availability is very limited. Please keep this in mind when planning your date and time. Spring Lake can be the perfect site for weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bridal showers, photo shoots, and more.

The owners of this property, Jason and Ashley Roberts, invite couples that are seeking a rustic setting for their special day. Here, a couple may create the country wedding day of their dreams.

LaLa Park's 2-story, cedar lodge has 5 large bedrooms with 6 beds, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and plenty of charm to spare. It sleeps up to 12 people comfortably with 2 king-sized beds and 4 queen-sized beds. There are also 2 dining areas and 2 living room spaces—one with a wood-burning stove and the other with a stone fireplace. Our sprawling 2-acre main lawn with a large music stage makes for the perfect outdoor event space. It's adorned with stained glass windows, colorful murals, unicorn statues, mermaids and many more garden treasures. You won't find another place like it in Texas.

Built in 1921, the Martindale Schoolhouse is an official Texas Historical Landmark. The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall.
