“I am still riding the high from my wedding hosted at Skyview Golf Club and I can't say enough great thing. If you're planning a wedding this is your venue. Not only is it one of the more affordable wedding venues in North Jersey, the staff and specifically coordinator Hildegard Power, are incredible at what they do. Hildegard walked me through the entire planning process, maintained the excitement and quickly answered all of questions (no matter how repetitive or the hour). The venue itself, without any additional decor, is stunning. Modern, open layout that accentuate the natural scenery. The bartenders were incredible, my guests are still asking me for recipes from our signature drinks (house cocktails suggested an made by Skyview) and the food was delicious. Hildegard ensured we actually got to eat on our wedding day, enjoy our choices and savor each moment and bite. The options for food, both cocktail hour and dinner are extraordinary--it became my husband and I's favorite date night activity to try to narrow down our favorite menu items. Eating them all on the big day was icing on the cake. I had a very specific vision for my wedding and Hildegard worked with me and my family to bring it to life, from decor drop-off and organization to final touches and last minute changes on the big day. More than anything, the most worthwhile and best thing I got from Skyview was reassurance and peace of mind. As a bride, there are a million decisions you have to make and even more things that will creep into your mind to worry you. I was never once worried that something may go wrong or fall through at Skyview. Hildegard built a strong foundation of trust and communication with us that truly made the big day everything I hoped. I was able to be in the moment and enjoy every second of my wedding to the fullest thanks to Skyview.”

“We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out at Mountainville Manor. The venue is beautiful, but the real magic is Lauren and James and the rest of the Mountainville Manor team. They were so accommodating and hard working, making our day feel personal and stress free. It was a huge help to have their vendor recommendations as a starting point, and all of the vendors were great too! I have had so many of our guests tell me how much they enjoyed the wedding, especially the food. Someone even told me that the steak was the best they ever had! All of the food was so good. I only hope someone I know decides to get married there so I can experience Mountainville Manor as a guest. It was special to have all of our family and friends in a place that made us feel like family. The day felt easy and fun for us and our guests. Thank you Mountainville Manor!”

“Dreams really do come true at the Tides! The best thing you can do is book your wedding there. From the day we booked and leading up to our big day Michael was very forthcoming and helpful. He was very responsive, followed up on all my questions and made sure we felt supported. The venue itself looks out of a fairytale. They are in a rural location so the greenery as you drive up is beautiful. The inside looks akin to a palace with many rooms and a beautiful lobby.  You don't even have to decorate too much because the place itself is so elegant and classy. The garden is soooo breathtaking. They have 2 ceremony spaces outside, beautiful flowers and greenery. Plus it's so big! You get a lot of bang for your buck. I didn't hire a day of coordinator and I basically planned everything myself with the bridal party, but the Maitre D and venue staff were very instrumental in making sure our event ran smoothly. I was super nervous thinking about the day of. I planned everything out but couldn't leave my seat because hello, I'm the bride lol. I was getting ready all morning.  But thanks to our Maitre D Alberto, the event flower perfectly. He kept us on time. Helped get the bridal party together. He literally went above and beyond. It's so incredible just thinking back to it. I know some venues are hands off. But the staff was just so dedicated to making our every request happen if possible. Thanks to Alberto, our wedding day went by beautifully without any hitch or drama. It's unbelievable because I heard there is always some kind of issue the day of. We paid for a 6am opening so me and my bridesmaids could get ready at the venue. Michael set up a wonderful breakfast in the bridal suite it was like being home! We were so comfortable and we're ready on time for our 11am start. Truly wonderful. We had the small bridal suite so to our small party but it was super nice and a great set up for getting ready! The food and the drinks were to die for. First of all, the cocktail hour was loaded with so much food! Not only do they include a variety of delicious hor'devours. You get to choose from from different entrees and stations. The guest are still raving about it a month later! Everything was excellent. From the presentation to the quality of the meals, it was the best wedding food I've ever had. When the reception came all the guests were too stuffed for their reception entrees! My cake came from David's Custom Cakes, their partner. I got the dulce de leche filling and let me tell you it was so rich! I'm definitely coming back the next time I need a cake! Honestly I am a happy bride. I have no regrets, in fact it was even better than I imagined! Don't hesitate to book them, you will not regret it!”

“I can't begin to describe the amazing wedding celebration we had at The Terrace at Biagio's. We had our ceremony at the venue as well and everything went perfect! Barbara and John were top tier! Communicating with me from the moment we met until the wedding, answering all my questions at all hours and making our vision come to life! They were on top of everything from start to finish, and we were constantly taken care of us. Not only did they excel but they did it all with great personality and love! The Terrace itself was a gem! Our guests raved about the cocktail hour! It was an assortment of the best food possible, all so fresh and impossible to not go back for more. Bar service was top notch and our signature drinks were a hit! (Barbra actually was the one who made that vision come alive! Lavender martini and bacon maple ole fashioned). The dessert hour was a fire show! (Literally a fire show) And there was every dessert possible! Carnival, ice creams, cakes, cookies, chocolate fondue, etc! We had our first look down the road at another location but we took photos on site in the front of the entrance to the terrace and they came out beautiful! It's a smaller area but it has beautiful flowers and a stream. The ceremony was on the roof top and it was beautiful with the waterfall fountain and stone fire place! Lots of cute places to take some very nice photos! Along with the string lights and arch, it was a dream. I can't rave enough about how much Biagios made our day so enjoyable, and beautiful. I would recommend them over and over again thank you again to the hardworking staff, Barbara, John and Tommy. It is a night we will cherish forever. Oh, and they allow dogs to be in the ceremony It was everything to be able to have our fur baby share our special day with us.”

“We had our wedding at The One & Only Westmount Country Club in early November 2025. It was a perfect venue! The staff were amazing, and the site was impeccable. From the moment we toured the Westmount it was pretty clear it would be perfect for us. We wanted to do the wedding on-site in the garden off the Continental Ballroom. Karen worked with us to make everything perfect and coordinated every detail according to our vision for the day. Since the wedding, we have heard nothing but praise and compliments from our guests. Multiple people have told us they have never had such good food at a wedding, and the dessert extravaganza (only word to describe it) was second to none. From the welcome drinks and snacks, to the cocktail hour, to dinner service and dessert, our guests cannot stop raving about the food and service. The outdoor venue with twinkle lights in the trees, up lighting, a fountain next to the gazebo, and the picturesque garden gate was the entire aesthetic we wanted. We highly recommend The One & Only Westmount Country Club. The staff, the venue, the food, and the suggested vendors all made for a dream wedding and magical night. “There truly are not enough words to describe the level of service we received at The Legacy Castle for our wedding. From beginning to end, the entire experience was beyond exceptional. Our Lead Banquet Services Coordinator, Camry, was absolutely incredible. From our very first meetings through the wedding day, she handled everything with such professionalism, patience, and attention to detail. She kept up with our incredibly busy schedule, was always accommodating and understanding, and remained flexible even with our last-minute changes. She put everything together so seamlessly that we were able to simply enjoy our wedding without worrying about a single detail. From the moment I arrived at the Castle, I was greeted by our wonderful maître d’ and immediately felt completely taken care of. I was also welcomed by two beautiful young ladies, Nicole and Adriana, who were personally by my side from the second I stepped out of the car and throughout the entire day. I genuinely cannot put into words how incredible they were. They helped clean and bustle my dress, kept my lipstick in their pockets and made sure it was reapplied throughout the night, made sure I was always fed and hydrated, and constantly checked that I had absolutely everything I needed. They anticipated my needs before I even had to ask. I never once had to worry about anything — they were always one step ahead of me. I truly felt like a princess that entire day. The amount of care and attention they gave me allowed me to be completely present and enjoy every second of my wedding. And the food was absolutely phenomenal. Our guests still cannot stop talking about it! Before the wedding, one of our concerns was whether there would be enough food for everyone, but looking back, we laugh because we simply did not realize the level at which The Legacy Castle operates. The amount, variety, presentation, and quality of the food completely exceeded anything we could have imagined. We added the sushi boats, which were a HUGE success with our guests and absolutely worth it. And then came the Viennese display — it honestly felt like walking into Willy Wonka’s chocolate room. Everywhere you looked there was something beautiful and delicious. It was over-the-top in the absolute best way and such an unforgettable way to end the night. The level of care was unlike anything I have ever experienced. It wasn’t simply good service — it felt personal. Every member of the staff made us feel as though our wedding was the most important event in the world to them that day. Even our vendors could not stop talking about how impressed they were by the professionalism, organization, and service of The Legacy Castle team. That alone says so much. I am still in awe of how beautifully and seamlessly everything came together. I truly don’t think I have ever experienced this level of service anywhere in my life. It was worth every single penny we spent. Being able to enjoy our wedding day knowing that we, our families, our guests, and even our vendors were being taken care of at such an extraordinary level was priceless. To Camry, our wonderful maître d’, Nicole, Adriana, and every single member of The Legacy Castle staff: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made one of the most important days of our lives absolutely unforgettable. We will forever be grateful.”

“I cannot recommend The Views at Mt Fuji highly enough! The way that they have helped guide us through the difficult wedding process, the exceptional services and offerings, the views and accommodations, there is nothing I could change to make this venue better. I’m so grateful to Pia and the Views staff for the incredible work they did to make our wedding night the most special. We were so thrilled with how everything went and everything that was done to accommodate our needs (from allowing a smaller group, to providing a sundae bar when we fell under our number of anticipated guests, to providing day of coordination, and much more)! I’ll forever recommend this venue to anyone who will hear it. Our guests were so pleased with the food, view, Pia’s helpfulness and the overall setup. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us and for our wedding!!”

“My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was two months ago, and we are still basking in the glow of that beautiful day—and for so many reasons, one of them being our experience with Raul Ruiz and his entire team at The Grove. From the moment we began planning, Raul was an extraordinary partner. I affectionately nicknamed him “The Maestro,” and I think that says it all. His years of experience, including planning his own wedding, give him an incredible understanding of what it takes to create a truly special celebration. Raul asks the right questions, makes thoughtful suggestions, and pays attention to details you may not even know to consider. He guided us with professionalism, compassion, and kindness, while leading his team with confidence and respect. One moment perfectly demonstrated his expertise. We had planned to hold the ceremony at the Carriage House, but 45 minutes before the ceremony, it started to rain. We had to quickly move the ceremony indoors. The Grove team immediately went into action, setting up the chairs and transforming the room in what seemed like no time at all. There was no panic—just a team of professionals who knew exactly what to do. Our guests would never have known we had changed plans at the last minute. And the team! To say they were attentive would be an understatement. We are still talking about our attendants. They anticipated what we needed, made sure we had food and drinks, steamed garments, checked in on us, and handled the little things that could easily have become big things—all with warmth and a smile. Our Maitre d’, Vas, was another standout. He was always nearby, quietly watching over the celebration and ready to step in whenever needed. His calm, professional leadership gave us tremendous confidence. And then there is The Grove itself. The venue was beautiful, the size was perfect, and the facilities were wonderful. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite were beautiful and comfortable and gave everyone a wonderful place to prepare and gather before the celebration. Our 200 guests were so impressed by the cocktail hour. The variety was incredible, and everything was delicious. Some guests actually thought the cocktail hour was the reception because there was so much food and so much to enjoy! Dinner was equally impressive. People are still talking about the filet mignon, and my branzino was fantastic. The chef and culinary team truly delivered. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite were beautiful and comfortable and gave everyone a wonderful place to prepare and gather before the celebration. But perhaps what means the most to us is that our son and his bride were so happy and so proud of their wedding. The Grove helped bring their vision to life and fulfill their dreams for the day. As parents, there is no greater gift than seeing your children genuinely happy on one of the most important days of their lives. When you entrust a venue with such an important family celebration, you want beautiful surroundings and wonderful food—but you also want people who will care about your day and know exactly what to do when the unexpected happens. That is what we found at The Grove. Raul and his team didn't simply execute our wedding. They helped us experience it. And for that, we will always be grateful.”

“Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.
