How did you meet?

Hannah lived in my best friend’s building, and my best friend thought we (Hannah and I) were a perfect match. So, she figured out who she was, and then as chance would have it we met at a bar.

How did you get engaged?

Hannah told me she had some fancy happy hour happening after work, and she asked that I come and get dressed up. She then sent me a video at 5pm with pictures of us and directions to get in the uber she ordered and said that I would see her soon. I arrived in the uber at the palace of fine arts (in SF), and Hannah was waiting for me under the main dome with flowers in hand.

What gift have you used the most on your registry?

My Le Creuset Whistling Kettle. Hannah makes me tea every morning before work.

Tips on creating a good registry?

I wanted to find things that were a variety of prices and sizes.

Tips on letting your guests know about your registry?

We put it on our wedding invites and our website, and people still asked us where to go. The best tip is keep it on hand, so you can send it at any time.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Any tips on planning your honeymoon?

Decide on what type of honeymoon you want to have: adventurous, relaxing, etc…and then decide how much money you want to spend.

Did you include your honeymoon on your registry?

Yes! Honestly, it’s what we most loved about Zola.

Beach or Mountains?

Both – that’s why we love California so much.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done together?

We love to travel and be adventurous, but this story comes to mind when I think of us.
When we were doing long distance, I (Amy) used to travel for work and schedule layovers in SF so we could have time together during the week. One time during my lay over Hannah actually created a picnic in the back of her car for us to have dinner and cuddle before my flight. I had no idea what was going on at the time, but when she opened the back of her car I cried. It was the most perfect site and exactly what we needed.
