Zola Townhouse x Homepolish

We sat down with Homepolish’s Justin DiPiero to talk about designing our interactive and immersive space – The Zola Townhouse, located at 43 Crosby Street in SoHo, NYC. And of course, we had to ask about his favorite Zola Townhouse picks. Read on and make sure to stop by our SoHo location to see for yourself!

What are some of your favorite Zola products in the Zola Townhouse?

I love the Hawkins New York products. The sling chair and storage ladder are beautifully made. I’m also a huge fan of the Chris Earl ceramics. Some of my favorite classics pieces are the Royal Copenhagen cake stand and the Waterford Rebel decanter.

If you could register for anything, what would it be?

Definitely the Smeg fridge and toaster! How cute are they? Love the retro design.

What is your favorite room in the Zola Townhouse and why?

I love the front of the space, leading into the first dining area. The custom shelves display all of the product so beautifully. I also love the way the crisp white Villeroy & Boch dishes pop against the rustic brick wall, accented with prints from Minted.

What were some of the challenges in this space?

Zola and I wanted to create a retail experience that felt like coming home. Different environments from living room to kitchen, all layered with product. So giving each space the moment it deserved served up a fun challenge.

How would you describe the aesthetic/vibe of the Zola Townhouse?

The townhouse aesthetic is very similar to the Zola and Homepolish demographic. It’s designed for couples who are  young, fun, rustic, and a bit eclectic.

What are 3 pieces from Zola that everyone should have in their home?

1. RIEDEL O Chardonnay Glasses, Set of 4 – $38

2. SOMA Water Filter Pitcher & Starter Filter – $40

3. LE CREUSET Signature Round Dutch Oven – $290- $360
