Urquhart Weddings
Hi, my name is Ian! At Urquhart Weddings, I create cinematic wedding films capturing the organic nature of a wedding day. From heartfelt moments to the little details you might not remember happening, my goal is to create a film that lets you relive the love, joy, and connection shared with your family and friends. I focus on showcasing the bond between two people in love, surrounded by their closest loved ones. What sets me apart as a wedding videographer is my unique blend of experience. With over 5 years as a touring photographer and videographer for internationally traveling artists and bands, I bring a creative, adaptive approach to filming wedding days. My background in Meteorology and love for weather (B.S., Plymouth State University 2015) fuels my appreciation for a good sunset shot (Sun Dogs are the best). Supported by a team who shares my vision, we work seamlessly to create impactful wedding films. Most importantly, a couple's happiness and satisfaction is my top priority. Egos always take a back seat.

Best decision ever
Theres not enough good things I can say about Ian. If you are able to even see 10 seconds of his work he sells himself. When we received our wedding video, we were blown away. He perfectly captured the emotions, energy, and little moments that made our day so special. Watching it brings us right back to our wedding day, and it's something we'll treasure forever. Beyond his incredible talent, he was simply a joy to work with—kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. What set him apart wasn't just the final videos—it was the entire experience. He was calm, professional, and incredibly easy to be around. On a day that can feel stressful and chaotic, he made everything feel effortless. He knew exactly where to be, captured moments we didn't even realize were happening, and never felt intrusive. If you're comparing videographers and wondering whether it's worth it, my advice is simple: book him. Years from now, the flowers and decorations are long gone, but this is what you'll have to relive your wedding day. We are so grateful we trusted him with those memories.

Ian was wonderful!! Prior to our wedding day, we talked through our vision and what we hoped to get out of our videography and he was so helpful in working with us to make it what we wanted. Captured Our Day Perfectly—Rain and All!
