    The best photo/video duo money can buy!

    Fabulous! Spectacular! Sensational! There are simply not enough words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Bonnie and Jon. We wanted our day to feel authentically us — not posed or staged. Just oozing with love, emotion, and joy. Our photos and wedding video do all of the above and more. Aside from their fabulous work, Bonnie and Jon are just stellar humans. They're thoughtful, funny, kind, and make you feel like your special day is in the best of hands. Choosing your wedding photographer/videographer is arguably the most important hire you'll make while planning, and we would have them on our team again and again. They are wizards at what they do!

    BEST TEAM EVER

    Team BonJon!! I stumbled upon these guys when watching one of their couple’s highlight film on YouTube (trying to do some recon on a venue) and I just fell in love. I felt like I knew the couple and were a part of their wedding day, all from a 10 min video!! Are you kidding me?? I thought these people must be magic. So I looked them up, and just from their website I was hooked. The organization, the personality, the perfectly planned photo/film packages, impeccable. Immediately shot them an email and within a day we had our first meeting booked. Talk about a killer husband & wife duo! We knew we wanted a team that was there to capture the day, more candid and thoughtful than a big to do, and that is Bonnie and Jon. Boy are my husband and I so glad we chose them to document our wedding. Not only are they so professional and punctual, they are also the funniest and most down to earth people you will ever meet! We felt like we’ve all been friends for years. This comfort translated through every single interaction we had with them. From virtual meetings to talk about plans, to the engagement shoot right where he proposed, and through out our entire 12 hour wedding day!!! They never missed a beat and truly made us feel like rockstars. Now the photos and films….Holy Moly they KILLLEDDD IT!!! So much joy and love. They literally captured every inch of our day and portrayed it with so much beauty and authenticity, it’s beyond impressive. We couldn’t stop scrolling through all of the photos and our 35mm film that Jon took… STUNNING! We don't know how were are gonna narrow any of them down into an album?! (FYI they offer stunning albums too). Thankfully we get to keep a digital copy of all the edited photos and films (hosted for a year on the best website ever, so easy to use!). PLUS they mailed us the sweetest personalized package of all our edited and raw data on the cutest hard drive. And Bonnie CRUSHED our films. Literally screamed and cried up a storm!!! From the sneak peak quick video to the Highlight film…. A LITERAL MOVIE!! Absolutely perfect. The warmth, the joy, the HUMOR!! Obsessed is an understatement. We’re saving our Full Documentary Edit video for our first anniversary as a way to relive the best day of our lives. So so so so grateful for BonJon and their tremendous gifts. They were the best part of our entire wedding journey. We can’t thank them enough for their amazing work. What just a pure ball of love they both have been and have brought to us.     A Wedding Film We’ll Treasure Forever

    I’ll admit, I went back and forth on whether wedding videography was truly worth the investment—until I discovered Bonnie. From the moment I saw her work, I knew to look no further—we had to book Bonnie to capture our wedding day. Her films go far beyond simply documenting events; they tell a story.     We can't thank Bonnie and Jon enough for being a part of our wedding day—it truly wouldn’t have been the same without the COOLEST photographer and videographer in the biz! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which is really hard to do since I turn into an awkward turtle the second a camera comes out. They rolled with every bit of my husband's humor and the chaos of our amazing guests like absolute pros. Speaking of our crazy guests, everyone can’t stop raving about how amazing Bonnie and Jon were. They blew everyone away, including us, with the way they captured every emotion and sweet moment between us. We were absolute puddles on the couch watching the video back and looking through all of the photos. Even though words can’t really describe how much they mean to us, we are #TeamBonJon until we die and we will cherish the memories they captured for the rest of our lives.

Hells yeah we do! While we’re based in Portland, Maine, we’re available for destination weddings nationwide. If your wedding is over 150 miles outside of the general Portland area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee (75 cents per mile) to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.

As soon as possible! Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as ASAP about our availability. We film and photograph a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up 6-8 months in advance. However, post-pandemic, the desire and value of videography has EXPLODED, and we HIGHLY encourage you to consider videography as a "must-have" in the beginning of your planning process. Consider booking videography at the same time as photography (OR, book both film + photo with us!).
Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
YES! ALSO, some of our favorite films and photographs! We use professional equipment that has a level of water protection, as well as coverings for our equipment in the event of rain or snow. We also carry some cute, clear bucket umbrellas to every wedding with us so you and your fiancé have something photogenic to keep you dry.

YES! Videography is Bonnie's speciality, while Jon in the photography master of Mars and The Moon. Unlike other photo/video teams, one is not more important than the other, or lower quality than the other. Before we were ever together, I (Bonnie) started filming weddingss in 2015, and Jon started photographing weddings in 2016. After we made the moves on each other and made things "official," we combined forces to create the ultimate wedding videography/photography team.
This is probably what your parents think of when you say you're getting a wedding video. This edit is typically 60-90 minutes in length, and includes the FULL length first look, ceremony, toasts, first dances, cake cutting, and other memorable moments from your wedding day. This film is not as "cinematic" in style as the highlight film, but is more of a documentation of your wedding day.
