About this venue

Located 30 minutes from Buffalo and Rochester in Batavia is an affordable barn venue that holds up to 300 guests. We offer on-site wedding ceremonies as well as the receptions with beautiful landscaped backdrops. Each wedding is one of a kind! We are not a cookie cutter wedding venue - we are here to help make your wedding all your own. If you want a food truck, lets make that happen; if you want a band instead of DJ let's do that, if you want sparklers instead of bubbles - great! My goal is to give you a place that is a blank canvas and we design it the way you want it. This is your day - no one else's. So let's make it the way you want it!!

    Great Wedding Venue

    One of the best things about choosing WoodSmith Estates as our venue was that we were able to truly customize our wedding the way we wanted. We were able to pick vendors that fit our vision for our wedding, and Jan was there with recommendations and guidance along the way. Being able to borrow decorations from the borrower’s closet was a huge plus. Our guests all had a great time (despite the 90 degree heat in July) and it was an unforgettable day. WoodSmith was a fantastic choice!

    Best day ever!!

    WoodSmith Estates was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was always timely and professional. On the day of, they had set everything up with an amazing rustic charm, exactly as we had pictured it. Their team was incredibly helpful in keeping our wedding party on schedule and making sure everyone was where they needed to be. We also really appreciated that they gave us the freedom to enjoy our special day without someone watching over us the whole time. We had an absolute blast celebrating at WoodSmith Estates and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding venue.

    Will forever recommend!

    The owner, Jan, was amazing to work with! She was always quick to get back to me on any questions I had. She also was present the day of, and made sure everything went perfectly! She made the whole experience super personal and welcoming.
