At the Queen, you'll get the royal treatment. Offering full event support, we're at your service from the planning stages until the last guest has gone home. Our rooms are compeletely customizable to meet your needs and specifications. Fun facts: The Queen is a historic landmark built in the 1800s. In the winter of 2020 it served as the Office of the President (Elect) Joe Biden. As Wilmington's most celebrated live music venue, the Queen features multiple extravagant rooms that fit any event. The Main Hall is perfect for bigger events such as weddings, birthday parties and fundraisers. Our medium-sized rooms, Olympia and The Crown are a great fit for smaller weddings, receptions and company parties. With access to the world's greatest musical entertainment, full-service event production, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, custom menus, and mixology, this unique 60,000 square-foot venue will exceed your expectations!

Main Hall

The Main Hall is the largest and most iconic full-service venue.

With a full bar, custom artwork, a beautiful, classical balcony, carved pillars, disco ball, full-size stage for any performance needs, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, and a remembrance of the past through a massive pipe organ, this venue is unlike anything you've seen before. You'll be surrounded by historic and impeccable artwork of some of our favorite queens throughout time. Just to name a few, this room is perfect for birrthday parties, weddings, company celebrations, and fundraisers.

    We got married at The Queen in July 2019. The venue is versatile, beautiful and exceeded every expectation. Great service from the venue team who took the pressure off us and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our special day among family and friends. We had 160 guests and there was ample space for dinner, dancing and a DJ on the stage. The VIP balcony was the perfect spot for appetizers and cocktails right after the reception - with the space flowing very nicely from start to finish. And it photographs so well too!

    We have worked with the queen for a few years; and they have always been a great vendor partner. Being a preferred caterer allows for referrals in both directions. We bring events to the Queen knowing they will be well taken care of; given amazing accommodations, and treated with care. The Queen too recommends us to clients corporate, personal and weddings alike - and together our teams seamlessly guide the experience. The Queen takes care of so many details; it allows the planner or event coordinator for your upcoming event focus on your fine details! With such a unique space, the Queen is a well sought after venue. If you'd like something unique, they are a great choice in Wilmington!
