Floriana offers an unforgettable event experience, with its beautiful, centuries-old, Georgian-style mansion and sprawling grounds nestled amongst lush greenery. Located just 25 miles north of Boston, the estate is situated alongside the beautiful Ipswich River and provides an elegant backdrop for your event.

Floriana sets the scene for your wedding day with the unique ability – unlike any other venue in the area – to comfortably seat up to 200 guests indoors in the Ballroom. The vintage architectural detailing throughout the interior of the mansion offers richness, beauty, and character. Its gleaming hardwood floors, sparkling crystal chandeliers, three grand fireplaces, and charming French doors that overlook the gardens create an atmosphere of elegance.

The sprawling green of our Great Lawn is the perfect setting for a ceremony. Cocktail receptions are elegantly hosted amongst the Sculpted Gardens & Veranda, complete with an outdoor bar and cozy fire pits for guests to gather around.

These spacious suites are available for couples to enjoy throughout their wedding day. For those who wish to arrive early there is ample space for wedding party and families to gather, share a toast, and prepare for the celebration.

The Most Magical Day, Thanks to Floriana
We had the most incredible experience at Floriana! From start to finish, the entire process was so seamless and stress-free. We first met with Jenna for our tour and booking, and she was so helpful in answering all of our questions. From there, our wedding coordinator, Brittany, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make our day so special and guided us effortlessly through every step of the evening. She brought every little detail I had envisioned to life, which meant so much to me as a graphic designer who personally designed every aspect of our wedding. On our wedding day, it rained, but the Floriana team handled everything so seamlessly. They transitioned our ceremony and cocktail hour inside and decorated the space so beautifully with candles that it honestly didn't even matter that our plans had changed. Everything felt so intentional and magical. The entire evening flowed so smoothly, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had, how beautiful every detail was, and how incredible the food and drinks were! Every staff member we interacted with was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. Brittany made sure we felt supported throughout the entire night, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy every moment. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding day, and I'm so grateful to the entire Floriana team for making it so special. I truly couldn't recommend Floriana more for your special day!

Best Decision Ever!!
From the very beginning, Floriana staff impressed us with their knowledge, kindness, and can-do attitude. The group tasting was wonderful. Floriana staff ran an entire mock wedding for the tasting, inviting vendors in, and showcasing the "add ons". We were also able to meet our amazing coordinator, Amber, and explore Floriana in more detail at our leisure. At our details meeting, Amber was thorough, kind, and did a great job of helping us guide our thinking, without forcing any opinions on us. We felt so comfortable working with her throughout the entire process. She did an excellent job of leading us without making us stressed. On the day of our wedding, we chose to rent out Floriana from 9:00 am on. It was amazing getting ready on-site while watching our venue come to life. The included getting ready suites are so beautifully decorated, but were also incredibly functional. There was plenty of space for everyone. Not only was everyone comfortable while getting ready, our detail photos came out beautiful. Floriana's early morning staff was so kind and accommodating, and made every person who came to the venue early feel welcomed and relaxed. As the bride, I diy'ed a lot of parts of our wedding. I gave some direction to Amber and her team as to where and how things should be set up. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect (including a seating chart that would not stick to its frame). Amber personally took care of everything and anything, making herself known to us, and helping with even the smallest tasks (like my broken seating chart!) Our wedding day was 90% humidity. It was a beautiful August day, sunny, 80s, but unfortunately incredibly humid. Amber and her team made quick, appropriate decisions to make sure the wedding party and our guests were taken care of. We especially loved that Amber would always come directly to us with important decisions, but made them simple and flexible. Despite not having a rehearsal dinner, Amber and her team executed a wonderful ceremony. The wedding party did not have any guesses as to what they had to do, as she made sure we were exactly where we needed to be, at exactly the right time. After the ceremony, Amber's team ushered us to the gazebo, where our signature drinks and selected hor d'oeuvres were waiting for us. It was one of the highlights of the night, sharing our new marriage with the people closest to us, before joining the rest of our guests. The attention to detail from the entire staff was impressive. The humidity finally broke during our reception, with lightning, thunder, and a 20 minute torrential downpour. The Floriana team handled it extremely well, keeping our guests dry in the tent. Once again, Amber did a fabulous job of keeping us in the loop, asking for our opinions, without being overbearing or disrupting the flow of our reception. Throughout the entire night, Amber made sure we had drinks in hand, plenty of food, and were served any specialty items first. We felt so special and cared for the entire evening. Leaving at 10:30 was truly difficult! Floriana could not have been a better option for us, and we are so grateful for all the love and support they showed us while going through this process of hosting a wedding and getting married! The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the people are amazing.

Outsanding Venue
We recently hosted our son's rehearsal dinner and welcome party for 120 guests at Floriana, and we truly could not have been happier with our experience. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was a special place. The venue is absolutely stunning—the gardens and veranda are spectacular, and the ballroom is simply gorgeous. We had the pleasure of working with Amber, who was incredible throughout the entire planning process. She was so easy to work with, organized, and attentive to every detail. She is a perfectionist in the very best way and took my vision for the event and made it even more beautiful than I imagined. The décor and overall setup were absolutely breathtaking. On the day of the event, the staff was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure everything ran seamlessly. The food was outstanding, and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was. We received countless compliments on both the venue and the event itself. Floriana exceeded every expectation and helped create an unforgettable evening for our family and friends. We highly recommend Floriana to anyone looking for a truly beautiful venue with outstanding service and exceptional attention to detail.

Highly recommend the Floriana!
The Floriana was absolutely stunning, and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our special day. From the beautiful location to the incredible atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and made everything feel seamless and stress-free. The food was fantastic — our guests are still talking about how great everything was! A special thank you to our wedding coordinator, Amber, who did an amazing job making sure every detail was perfect. She truly helped make our day so special, and we are incredibly grateful for all of her hard work and support. Even when my bustle broke Kelsey and Amber were on it and immediately ran over to help and fix it. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding experience!

A DREAM COME TRUE!!
My husband and I had our wedding at Floriana this August, and we truly could not have imagined a more perfect experience. From the very first visit to the big day itself, everything was beyond incredible. Jenna & Kelsey made the booking process easy and stress-free, and it only got better from there! During the many months leading up to the wedding, Amber and Kelsey answered every single question I had and helped me iron out every single detail. Then when we sat down with Amber for our planning meeting we felt like we simply had a couple of loose ends to tie up, which Amber helped us do! She kept everything organized and accessible on their planning software, so when the day finally came, we were ready to go! The venue is absolutely stunning — every corner feels magical, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous everything was, from the sculpted garden to the mansion to the tent! Every corner of the property is immaculate! And those prep suites upstairs…unbelieveable!! Not only are they gorgeous and comfortable, but they have all the space in the world to spread out. We kept all our belongings up there all night, and I had everything I needed to change into my second dress!! And we can’t forget the food! I haven’t gotten feedback from guests that hasn’t included a compliment on the food! Every single thing we picked from the menu was out of this world (cocktails included!). Our guests left full and happy! One of the things that truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The coordination by Amber was flawless — every little detail was handled with such care and precision that all we had to do was show up and soak in every moment. It was clear that the team knows exactly what they’re doing, and they do it with heart. As someone who has worked in hospitality and event planning for over 10 years, I can’t even begin to tell you the value of good staff. To feel taken care of by them on my wedding day was a feeling that you can’t put a price on. I was able to put everything in Amber’s hands and just be the bride!! Thanks to Floriana, our wedding day was stress-free, full of joy, and completely unforgettable. We feel so lucky to have celebrated the most important day of our lives here. If you’re considering this venue — stop thinking and book it. You’ll be so glad you did.
