About this venue

A piece of history… The Cool Springs House has a long and colorful history. In 1830, James and Penelope Barfield Carothers built the original two log rooms of the Cool Springs House located at what is presently the intersection of Mallory Lane and Cool Springs Boulevard. Many years later, the house had major renovations done to it by adding the second story, the downstairs hall, and the front porch. The Cool Springs House is the perfect blend of history and elegance.

The Cool Springs House is the ideal space for the bride that wants less restrictions and more freedom to make their wedding their own. It features a beautiful historic home with two large rooms inside, a full kitchen, bridal suite, and grooms room. Clients love our historic log barn, cute brick patio, and wonderful lawn that could be used for ceremonies or reception.

Description

The Cool Springs House is available to rent seven days a week. Rental periods are from 9:00am until 11:00pm. Peak Season (April, May, June, September, October) Saturday - $2,750 Friday or Sunday - $2,250 Monday- Thursday -$1,400  Off-Season (November, December, January, February, March, July, August) Saturday - $2,150 Friday or Sunday -$1,950 Monday- Thursday - $1,150 PLEASE NOTE: A $250 cleaning fee will also be added to all rentals.

    If you have a vision

    Let me tell you - CSH was EXACTLY what I was looking for on my big day. It is a beautiful blank canvas for any brides who have a specific vision (um, hi. im the problem its me). The venue is stunning, it's unique and spacious and feels so personal and the staff are exactly as helpful as you need them to be!! I am someone who prefers to have folks out of my hair who just let me goooooo. And they really were that. The venue was also more affordable for the whole weekend than the other places I looked at for 6hrs. Which made the entire difference to me.

Yes, we allow clients to provide their own alcohol. We do require licensed bartenders if serving alcohol as well as a venue insurance policy that usually costs around $175 and we provide an easy link to obtain this online.
Yes, we are located in a park with plenty of on-site parking.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the side entrance of the home.
Weekend rentals or full-day rentals are 9am-11pm
Yes, we require event insurance if you have over 50 guests and/or are serving alcohol in any form, regardless of your guest count.
