    Great for tropical themes!

I had my wedding at The Banyan Room in May 2026. We hosted 70 guests. Overall, it was a pretty positive experience and I would use them again. The price was very reasonable when you compare to other venues in the area. The venue also comes with tables and chairs. I liked that we could make it our own with decor and that you have the ability to choose your own vendors. This venue works great for tropical themes with the terrazzo floors, white walls, mural, and beautiful foliage. We got the security deposit back in a timely manner which was nice. My main two issues were the lawn and the communication. The lawn was extremely sparse with grass. If they invested in turf, I think a lot more people would book their events there. We made it work though. My mom and I also had a difficult time communicating with the rental agent, Robyn. She would frequently not respond to call or text which was frustrating at times. There is no event staff but we worked with an amazing wedding planner that handled everything. The bathrooms are outdated too but it wasn’t something that bothered me too much.
