Safari Wilderness

From your parking area, you meander down a long wooden boardwalk through a beautiful bay head surrounded by centuries-old cypress trees. At the end of the boardwalk and at the edge of the veldt is the rustic but elegant 13,000-square-foot Safari Lodge. The lodge has a soaring 26’ ceiling, large picture windows, and looks over herds of African antelope. The lodge is heated and air-conditioned with a verandah surrounding the lodge and a large open, covered area for those wanting to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. It has ample restroom facilities. A walk-through aviary and small mammals section are located just outside.
