About this venue
Located on one of the Gulf’s most beautiful beaches, Runaway Island’s philosophy of great food, friendly service, fun, and a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere is one that we proudly carry over to our Special Events. Our semi-private and private dining rooms are ideal for family gatherings, business functions, and wedding receptions. We can accommodate groups from five to five hundred guests.

Indoor/Outdoor Ballyhoo Room
Bar seating along with table height seating as well as weather permitting outside rail seating. The Ballyhoo Room has a private bar and a stage as well as audiovisual capabilities if needed. Available for buffet and butler style.

The Captain's Table
The Captain's Table is cozy and comfortable
Two long rectangular community style tables with both banquette and chair seating. Space is for Dining only (similar to a reservation) and does not have space for a dance floor or extra tables with the exception of a small cake table. This room you can order off the regular dining menu or create a limited set menu.

The Sunset Deck
The Sunset Deck has the best view.
Six high top tables with both banquet and chair seating. Space is for Dining only (similar to a reservation) and does not have space for a dance floor or extra tables with the exception of a small cake table. This space is outdoors but has a small cover and electronic roll down flaps for weather. Very bad storms and wind can affect availability. This space you can order off the regular dining menu or create a limited set menu.

After Wedding Dinner
Runaway Island Bar and Grill was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding celebration. From the moment we inquired, the staff was professional, prompt, and precise in all their communication, making the planning process seamless. On the day of, the venue provided a very nice space that accommodated our party of 19 guests comfortably. The team ensured everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy the moment. We are so grateful to Runaway Island for helping make our special day truly memorable.
Great rehearsal dinner spot
We had a rehearsal dinner here with 50 people and it was perfect! Delicious food, great location, staff were kind, professional, and easy to work with.
