About this venue

The 1820s farmhouse at Rubicon Farm is a charming centerpiece for the open grassy countryside acreage that surrounds the house. Called the Black-Cole House, it was updated in 2005 as a getaway for an active family that loves the outdoors. Now empty-nesters, the couple who owns Rubicon rents this special property out as a venue for an array of special events. Our Niche Turn-key packages at Rubicon Farm are our wedding niche. Our team customizes our couple’s vision of their wedding day, and we do all the set-up and coordination and take down. We plan and execute everything but the reception food and your choice of music, and if you need help choosing those, we are happy to make vendor suggestions.

A Unique Venue With Endless Possibilities

Our beautiful fully restored 3-bedroom farmhouse offers the comfort and convenience of modern touches while retaining the character and charm of its historic roots. It serves as the focal point of any gathering with handsome fireplaces in each room and a full-length ​front porch that spills out onto a 6-acre lawn shaded by magnolia trees planted long ago. Spacious, rustic, inviting and historic, we have the facilities to make your special day memorable. Rubicon Farm offers an idyllic setting, and the old weathered barn wood outbuildings create a timeless, rustic backdrop for any event. The farm is set on a private 50-acre property down a secluded country lane which is just outside the historic village of Pinehurst, NC.
