The hotel was in a good location and big, but very crowded. The elevators were out of service and it was a pain waiting around with multiple wedding parties. They had a lot of events occurring including a child's dance competition that overtook the entire hotel. I feel they could have provided a heads up for the weddings that this dance competition would be present, or separated the events better. Young girls were running around barefoot all over the hotel, running through the hallways, and banging on my door at night. The hotel could have put group blocks on same floors instead. Or put the girls on lower levels. The dance competition had loud music all day starting unnecessarily early, before 7am, and going all day. The girls were screaming most of the day in excitement but it was a lot. The hotel placed the complementary coffee in the middle of the dance competition, so you had to go downstairs to their competition between their very loud speakers to get coffee. There was a leak in the ceiling and stained couched and outdated furniture. As the bride, I feel the staff could have been more welcoming to me and at the very least checked in with me to see how the weekend was going and welcome me. A few times, we sat in the common area and were asked to move to make space for the girls dance competition and their parents. There aren't a lot of hotel options nearby, but I wish there were, because I didn't think this hotel ran as smoothly as it should. My guests were pretty irritated by these things as well, but happy to be all together.
