David Ulloa Studio
I started out making photos with 35mm film cameras as kid on family vacations. Wherever I traveled, whatever the occasion, I took a camera with me. As life carried on, I decided to document it at a higher level, wanting to produce for myself as much as for others a way to remember the special moments in life. Today my team and I are ready to capture that big day. It's the places we go, the things we do, and the people we do them with that matter.
I believe in what the old masters taught: you don't take a photograph, you make it. My philosophy is to make photographs that feel timeless in their narrative. Combining editorial and fine art photography with documentary and photojournalistic realism gives albums a completeness that is both modern and classic all at once. And through it all, the story of your day is at the core.

Incredible experience photos
Where to even begin? From the first meeting we had with David, he was bursting at the seams with passion and excitement. I remember the day we decided to go with him to photograph our wedding I told him I was excited to have someone photograph that day who truly celebrated love. David is an extremely talented, active, collaborative, and communicative photographer. He has an eye for capturing really beautiful posed shots and drawing on the art and beauty in the scenery around you and is equally strong at candid’s, capturing the true emotion of our day in our wedding photos. When we got our pictures back, it was like we could relive that day over and over and over again. His talent speaks for itself with the pictures so I’ll move onto the things that pictures don’t capture. David and his team were very quick on their feet and seamlessly adapted to every change that the day brought us. He did his homework and took the time to get to know me and my partner as a couple as well as our getting-ready and wedding venues so he was prepared on the day with great recommendations. He is the right amount of collaborative, providing great direction but also able to listen to and adjust to what you’re looking for on that day. We would 100% recommend David and his team over and over!
Engagement Shoot
Working with David was wonderful! He drove all the way up to WPB, and worked with us to include our dog in the shoots. He incorporated ideas I had shared but also had his own vision so we let him guide us through the day. He was lovely to work with and super professional. We definitely recommend him to anyone looking to find a photographer for their big day, or, like us, for their engagement shoot!
Wedding photography exceeded expectations
Working with Dave for our wedding photography was a fantastic experience from start to finish. His communication throughout the planning process was highly professional yet also personal, making us feel comfortable and confident in his abilities. The quality of his work was truly exceptional - the photos he captured beautifully documented all the special moments of our wedding day. David photographed my bridal shower & he was incredible! He was communicative prior to the event, followed my vision & inspiration, was punctual day-of, & had quick turn-around times with the gallery. During the event, he fit right in with our group & made all the photos feel effortless. I loved all the details & pure emotions captured in his photography. I highly recommend!
