About this venue

The only private event space offered at Founders, The Centennial Room features a fully-staffed bar with eight taps (including one nitro tap), and can accommodate groups up to 65 seated (with additional seating for 50 on the deck.) Located on the second story of our facility, the room has a small lounge area with comfortable leather chairs and two walls of windows - east and south-facing - looking out over the city of Grand Rapids. Our wraparound porch connects to the event space via two glass-garage doors. The room is outfitted with three large flat-screen televisions and a retractable projector screen for PowerPoint or video presentations. A podium with a microphone can be available for any speeches or group announcements. The Centennial Room can be booked in 3-hour minimum blocks. Additional time can be added at a price per-hour charge if available.

With ample natural light and flexible seating arrangements, the Centennial Room can accommodate various events, from private parties to corporate meetings. Guests can enjoy a rotating selection of Founders’ renowned beers, or request some of our non-beer options (including wine, champagne, hard cider, and a variety of NA beverages.) Overall, this is a unique venue that captures the spirit of our brewery while providing a welcoming space for special occasions.

    Wonderful Rehearsal Dinner Venue

    Melissa and David with Founder’s were so helpful to create our event at the Centennial Room flawless. When there was an issue, they corrected it quickly. The whole Founder’s team was wonderful to work with. Our event went incredibly well and our guests had nothing but positive things to say! Would definitely host an event at the Centennial Room again.

Late November through Early March. We often run discounts during these months, so be sure to ask!
May through October, and holiday parties in December.
No, we are classified as a 'tasting room' so all alcoholic beverages consumed have to be made on site.
Yes, we have two Founders Parking Lots. For guests of the Centennial Room we validate up to 10 hours of parking for those lots.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff. The Centennial Room is accessed via elevator for all guests and offers accessible rest rooms.
The room rental deposit covers 3 hours in the room, and a complimentary 30 minutes for set up purposes. Additional time is available for the rate of $50 per half hour.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. However, you are welcome to use the deposit towards another event with us.
