Once the working studio of renowned sculptor Gutzon Borglum, creator of Mount Rushmore, our distinctive space blends timeless character with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This charming outdoor pavilion offers a flexible setting for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, showers, and other celebrations. The rental includes table and chair setup, utility and cocktail tables upon request, free parking, centerpieces upon request, an on-site event manager, event time including cleanup, and a four-hour decorating allowance. Linens are included with in-house catering, and a TABC-certified bartender is included for events with 100 or more guests.

    We had the most absolutely lovely wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with our venue! From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly, and the entire staff was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. A special thank you to Lauren and Leola, who were amazing throughout the entire process. They were always willing to answer questions, help with details, and make sure everything came together perfectly. Their attention to detail and support made the entire wedding planning process so much less stressful. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be, and we are so grateful to Alamo City Golf Trail for helping make it such a beautiful and memorable day. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate their special day!

    It's great that this historic structure is still standing and people are able to use it for events. It's historical significance can't be understated and I don't think it's recognized nearly enough for the artist Gutzon Borglum that worked in it for 13 years and later created Mt. Rushmore. He actually created the models for the presidents heads at this studio.

    We recently hosted a gender reveal at Borglum Studio, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The space was perfect—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. A special shoutout to Lauren Reyes, who truly made the day unforgettable. She accommodated our last-minute reservation with ease and handled every detail with care and thoughtfulness. Her responsiveness and inclusive approach made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend this venue for any special event! We can’t wait to book this venue again!

Yes, a ramp provides accessible entry into the studio. Please note that the studio restrooms are not wheelchair accessible; however, accessible restrooms are available in the nearby pro shop.
Our starting rental fee includes setup of tables and chairs; utility tables for cake, gifts, sign-in, catering, and a sweetheart or head table; cocktail tables upon request; free parking; centerpieces upon request; an on-site event manager; event time, including cleanup; and a four-hour decorating allowance. Additional decorating time may be available. Linens are included with in-house catering services, and a TABC-certified bartender is included for events with a minimum of 100 guests.
Our venue rentals require a four-hour minimum. Rates are $250 per hour Monday through Thursday and $350 per hour Friday through Sunday.
A signed contract and a $500 deposit are required to reserve your event date. The deposit is applied toward your final balance but is nonrefundable. If you need to cancel, the deposit may be transferred to another available date.
Our venue is located at 2315 Avenue B, San Antonio, TX 78215, approximately 10–15 minutes from San Antonio International Airport. Guests can reach the venue by car, rideshare, or taxi.
