Kindly Katie Events was created to make wedding planning feel a little more approachable. We love helping couples figure out what they actually want, get creative with their ideas and budget, and skip the things that just don’t feel like them. Whether you need help figuring it all out along the way or just want someone there to make sure it comes together on the day, we’re here to help, and everyone is always welcome here!
We believe great weddings don’t have to fit a certain look, tradition, or price tag. We love getting creative with what you have, finding thoughtful ways to make your budget work harder, and building a celebration that feels genuinely like you. Above all, we lead with kindness. We strive to create an inclusive, judgment-free planning experience where every couple feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

Wedding Planner- 10/10!
I never realized how much I needed a wedding planner until I worked with Kindly Katie Events. Honestly, I had always been against hiring one, but looking back, I feel so blessed that we had Katie. Having her by our side was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Katie handled every detail with care and professionalism, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy our day without worrying about a single thing. She made our wedding feel perfect and completely stress-free, and I cannot express how much I appreciated having her. If you’re considering a wedding planner—or think you don’t need one—I wholeheartedly recommend Kindly Katie Events. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding so special!

From our very first conversation, Katie made us feel like our wedding was just as important to her as it was to us. She was there every step of the way leading up to our wedding, staying in constant communication, helping with the little details, and making sure everything was taken care of so we could actually enjoy our wedding weekend without constantly worrying about logistics. Katie went above and beyond to make sure everything came together exactly how we envisioned it. She created detailed floor plans, decor layouts, and printouts to keep everything organized, and her communication with our vendors made the entire process feel seamless. Even with a limited amount of time to set everything up on the wedding day, she somehow pulled everything together beautifully and made it look effortless. What really sets Katie apart is how genuinely passionate she is about what she does. She truly cares about her couples and puts so much thought, time, and heart into making their day special. We never felt like just another wedding on her calendar — she made us feel taken care of from beginning to end. We honestly cannot imagine our wedding day without Katie. She took so much stress off our shoulders and allowed us to be fully present and enjoy one of the most important weekends of our lives. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, thoughtful, dependable, creative, and genuinely invested in making your wedding everything you dreamed of, we cannot recommend Katie enough!

A true life savor!!!
I truly don’t even know where to start, Katie was PHENOMENAL. When my husband and I first started wedding planning, I was completely overwhelmed. I had certain ideas and details I knew I wanted, but I had no idea how to actually bring everything together. I was asking family for advice and trying to figure it all out as I went. Luckily, I work with Katie, and when she mentioned that she could help me, I took her up on it immediately, and I am SO glad I did. I went over to her place for mimosas, and she started asking me questions I never would have even thought to ask myself. She listened to all of my ideas, understood exactly what I was envisioning, and somehow figured out how to turn all of those scattered thoughts into an actual wedding. I am incredibly indecisive, and Katie was amazing at keeping me focused without ever making me feel pressured. She is an absolute spreadsheet queen. She laid everything out for me, created timelines, kept track of all the little details, and made the entire process feel so much more manageable. She contacted vendors, helped me find ways to save money, and even looked into thrifting and Amazon alternatives so I wasn’t spending an arm and a leg on things we could get for less. On the day of the wedding, she handled EVERYTHING behind the scenes. I was actually able to enjoy my wedding day because I knew Katie had it covered. If something went wrong, I genuinely didn’t know about it because she handled it before it ever became something I needed to worry about. She coordinated everything, kept everyone on track, and was constantly one step ahead. What makes it even more incredible is that she did all of this in about 4 months. I was on such a time crunch because I had spent so much time feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do, and Katie somehow took all of that stress and turned my wedding into an absolute fairytale. I cannot express how thankful I am for her. I truly don’t think I could have done any of it without her. My parents absolutely fell in love with her too and could not stop talking about her work ethic and how on top of everything she was. Having Katie there allowed me to be present, enjoy the day, and actually experience the wedding I had dreamed about instead of worrying about all the little details. I’m so incredibly grateful that she was there with me through all of it. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, creative, thoughtful, budget-conscious, and will work her butt off to make your vision happen, Katie is your girl. I cannot recommend her enough!
