Events by Mandy Piluso is a wedding planning company based in Southern Pennsylvania. Our team services all areas from Central Pennsylvania to Northern Virginia. We have been crafting stunning and unforgettable weddings and events for over seven years and can't wait to work on yours.
As a wedding specialist, I work alongside some of the best vendors and providers in the industry, so you know you are in good hands. You can choose from four packages: full planning, partial planning, and full coordination or day-of coordination. Alternatively, I offer an option to BYO package so you can create a service all your own. No matter which package you choose, we will ensure your special day is an unforgettable success.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed with the services provided by Events by Mandy Piluso for our wedding. In the beginning, Mandy’s communication with us was decent. We sent a handful of emails/texts back and forth regarding broad wedding questions/details, but unfortunately the communication came to a standstill. My husband and I acknowledge that certain circumstances closer to our wedding date made communication hard for Mandy, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of conversations we had with her in months prior to our wedding. Mandy had to make the hard decision to send a replacement to work our wedding day (which at first I was fine with), but then I quickly changed my mind when I found out the replacement wedding planner openly admitted that she had NEVER coordinated a wedding before and had ZERO prior discussions with Mandy about our event. I ended up having to run my own wedding rehearsal (which is what I paid her for), and had to apologize to multiple vendors for the lack of communication they were receiving that I was unaware of. One of assistants Mandy sent deliberately told our venue owner that she “doesn’t do manual labor”. The quality of their work and overall value was extremely unorganized and unhelpful. I paid for “Full Coordination” and BARELY received “Day of Coordination”. We ended up having to request a partial refund from Mandy due to the lack of support, but we still have not received that refund. We landed on October 28th as our refund date but due to another circumstance she can’t pay us now. She agreed in our email thread that we pretty much didn’t receive 90% of what we paid for, but I still am having to beg for a refund. I would not recommend Events by Mandy Piluso to any couple planning their wedding. So unbelievably disappointed.

However, prior to Hurricane Helene impacting Asheville and disrupting cell service in the area, there was consistent monthly communication between you (the bride), the venue owner, and our team via text message. Mandy engaged in multiple interactions with your vendors, as many of them initially had limited information about your wedding. Leading up to your wedding day, Mandy made numerous phone calls and exchanged emails and text messages with these vendors to address their questions and share the timeline and detailed plans. This is a standard part of our wedding logistics finalization process. Additionally, Mandy spent three hours during your venue tour to finalize logistics—far exceeding the standard one-hour allocation most couples receive. Unfortunately, Mandy and her family experienced significant hardship due to the hurricane, including the loss of their home and two devastating family events. This necessitated the decision to appoint two qualified replacements for your wedding. The head coordinator had a detailed meeting to review your wedding plans, and a comprehensive, minute-by-minute timeline and detailed wedding PDF were provided to ensure a smooth transition. Your contract specifies that we are not responsible for acts of God, natural disasters, or events beyond our control. The destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, which severely impacted Mandy’s home and community, is one such event. We were left with two choices: cancel the contract the week of your wedding or assign another head coordinator and assistant to manage the event. The most professional option was to provide replacements to ensure your wedding proceeded as planned. After consulting with multiple vendors, we confirmed that the assistant did actively participate, including setting up and moving chairs, as corroborated by other vendors at the event. Regarding the delay in communication about your refund, this was due to Mandy’s husband being struck by an impaired driver on the highway at over 100 miles per hour. Again, we deeply apologize for your experience and sincerely wish there was more we could have done for you.Very responsive and professional

She is a dream to work with and communicate with in every step along the way in planning a perfectly executed wedding. I highly recommend her creative talents to all couples!

Mandy has planned a few events at our venue and she is always extremely helpful, creative and organized. You can tell how passionate she is about her job from the second you first meet her. She is perfect for this industry and is going to do amazing things in this area.
