At Desert Flower Events, we’re passionate about bringing your vision to life with creativity, precision, and care. Our founder, Alex, has been in the wedding industry since 2018. She is excited to bring her passion and experience to couples in the Treasure Valley. From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, we craft personalized experiences that reflect your love story. We believe every couple deserves a seamless, unforgettable day, and we’re here to provide the guidance, support, and expertise to make it happen. Based in Boise, ID, we’re committed to ensuring your wedding day is as unique as you are.
Curated events designed with your budget front-of-mind. We specialize in wedding budgets $20,000 and less. We love making your wedding unique to your personality and story. We are flexible and like to design creative and unique events!

Alex and her team really made our day amazing. We were able to float through the day without a care in the world. It was incredible! Right from the start Alex was highly organized and helped us refine all the details for our day. Alex had great communication throughout the entire process and kept all the little anxieties at bay. At our request she gave us checklists and assignments so that we could successfully plan our day. Alex seamlessly brought all our vendors together. She was like the director of a grand symphony. All of our vendors played their parts in the symphony and Alex kept the full score. Alex hustled fast on our day to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. She and her assistant, Katie, worked well with our families and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I hope we have another opportunity to hire Alex. She was amazing!

Alex from Desert Flower Events was absolutely wonderful!!! She was such a key part of our day, we truly couldn't have pulled it off without her! From the first video chat we had with her, she was so kind and asked so many questions about what we wanted for our day. Throughout the process she would check in with us to ensure everything was going smoothly on our end. We had an amazing planning meeting with her where she treated us to a glass of wine, and we chatted about everything in depth about our wedding to ensure everything would go smoothly. She gave us a check list of things to get done and it was so helpful to ensure we didn't miss anything leading up to our day. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt and on top of everything. As a bride who was a little stressed before the big day (because what bride isn't a little bit right!) I knew she would take care of everything and make it better than I ever could have imagined. She helped our vision come to live perfectly! She also did a great job cleaning up and making sure everything was packaged away at the end of the night so we could enjoy our night and not have to ask our friends or families to clean up at the end of the day. We could not have had the day we did without Alex, she is a rock star and we know the rest of your team is as well. We are wedding photographers, and we truly believe having a wedding planner, or at least a day of coordinator is SO helpful to ensure your day goes smoothly, so you can actually enjoy and relax during your event (as well as your friends and family!) We highly recommend Alex and her team, she is wonderful, organized, hard working, and a joy to be around!

Alex and her team were INCREDIBLE start to finish. All of our meetings were so sweet and detailed. Alex’s communication with my other vendors and with me was so organized and intentional. She came for the day so prepared and had a solution to every problem! My bustle broke during cocktail hour and she was able to pin it up before our first dance. Every part of my vision was brought to life thanks to desert flowers events!

I truly can't say enough good things about Alex. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, organized, and supportive-especially for someone like me who had no idea what I was doing and wasn't even sure I wanted a celebration. Alex created a shared spreadsheet that laid out every detail clearly, which helped me feel grounded and in control. She was always available when I needed her, yet never pushy or overwhelming. She gave me the space to make decisions in my own time, which I appreciated more than I can say. On the day of the celebration, Alex was nothing short of amazing. She orchestrated everything so smoothly that I was able to truly enjoy the day without stress. She made sure I had everything I needed and went out of her way to make my husband feel compfortable-even though crowds are not his thing. Her calm, confident presence made all the difference. If you are looking for someone who's not only professional and organized but also genuinely kind and intuitive, Alex is the one. She turned what could have been a chaotic experience into something joyful and seamless. We are so grateful for Alex.
