Hey, Y’all. I’m Jess, an elopement and lifestyle photographer - based in Michigan, but will travel anywhere. I thrive on intimate settings, magical places, and anything unique and true to you. I was born and raised in a small, rural town in Michigans thumb, where saying you got stuck behind a tractor was a perfectly legitimate excuse for being late to anything. Currently, I reside in Metro Detroit, with my husband, three WILD children, and our pets - two dogs, a cat named Kiwi, and one very spoiled betta fish. I love Michigan, but my heart longs for slower, southern living, and a magical, old farmhouse.

Every couple I work with is unique. Their personalities, their stories, their love. No two couples are the same, and I pride myself on capturing you in the most authentic way. If you’re looking for someone to show up and take traditional, posed photos, thats not me. But, if you’re looking for someone who wants to know you - wants to know your unique love story - and wants to capture the real, raw moments, I’m your girl and I can’t wait to meet you.

The short answer, yes! I LOVE TO TRAVEL. All of my wedding packages include travel to locations local to me. My elopement packages include airfare/gas, lodging, food, and any other costs I might incur traveling to your location.
Yes, and yes! I love animals. Like a lot. My motto is that pets are family too, just give me a heads up before our shoot and we’re good to go!
Absolutely! ALL are welcome here. And, if that’s a problem for you, you should probably not work with me.
I do not deliver every image that I take. I want to deliver beautiful work so I carefully cull through all of the images. Only editing ones that are up to my standard of quality. I do, however, deliver a large number of edited images. As such, I will not give out unedited, RAW images. My hope is that you’ve seen my portfolio, and hired me because you love my unique style!
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3 to 4 months after your wedding, but possibly sooner. You can also expect a sneak peek within 72 hours!
Sometimes. Depending on the size of the wedding, I may request a second shooter be added to the package, but this is always an option for you to choose as well!
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant, and all of your images will still be edited and delivered by me.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
