I'm Therese, a Minneapolis-based wedding photographer with a BFA in photography and work shown in national fine art publications. I came to wedding photography through fine art, which means I'm always looking for cinematic light, real emotion, and images that feel like they were made, not just taken. I spent two years teaching art and special education before going full time with photography, and that background genuinely changed how I work with people. I know how to make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera, which is honestly half the job!

A fine art background combined with real warmth and people skills. My couples get both the editorial portraits that look like they belong in a magazine and the candid documentary coverage that captures how the day actually felt. I don't have a one-size-fits-all approach and I'm not going to make your wedding look like everyone else's.

This package is designed for Minneapolis courthouse weddings. Limited Availability. Your wedding doesn't need a guest list of 200 to deserve beautiful photographs. Fantastic Wedding Photographer!
Therese was an amazing photographer for my December 2025 wedding! She took photos in a variety of styles at our request, which gave both of us photos to cherish in years to come. The pictures she took look magazine-worthy, and I am excited to print them and display them in our home. Therese also made my wife and me both comfortable in front of the camera. We are both women, and she ensured that we both felt beautiful and celebrated. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to book a versatile, affirming photographer, but I would especially recommend her for queer couples, plus-sized brides, and anyone looking for a photographer who makes the day special!

We look amazing!
Therese took my wedding photos in December 2025. She was not only professional, but kind. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is no small feat. My wife calls the face I make in photos my "awkward professional" face- it was nowhere to be seen, only photos that made us both look incredible. She intervened with family members to make sure that we got the shots and the vibe we wanted, and took her time to make us feel special. Therese was very through when asking what we wanted and how she could make the pictures the ones of our dreams, and they are. Her color balancing, composition, willingness to try anything (she switched from candid, to editorial, to Hong Kong 80's pre-wedding style as we asked), compassion, and attention to detail made our photos incredible. Also, she was totally prepared for my wife's black wedding dress, and two do what was necessary to make two plus size brides feel feminine, intimate, and powerful. If you need a photographer for any reason, or if you're a plus size bride or a queer couple looking for someone who will treat you like you deserve to be treated, call Therese. You won't be dissapointed. Five stars.
