About The Silhouette Studio Photography

Sarah Williams

Owner/ Lead Photographer

Sarah has been photographing weddings since 2010, which amounts to capturing over 400 couples and their love stories. After receiving a bachelor's degree in photography, Sarah hit the road and has captured weddings in multiple states and countries. Everyone is living their own love story, let me tell yours.

Life is all about the little moments in time, those are what we build our lives on. They can pass us by in an instant and we often forget these unspoken passages. My purpose as a wedding photographer is to bottle up all the things you don't see, what you can't see and then surprise you with those moments from your wedding day that you never knew existed. From your mother sweeping a hair from your face as she kisses you, to a bashful ring bearer sprinting down the aisle towards a speechless groom as he catches the first glance of his beautiful bride, I am here for it all; embracing, capturing, and preserving those memories.

    Photos I will cherish forever!

Hiring Sarah was probably the best decision I made with my wedding (besides picking the right guy first haha). I knew that I was willing to splurge on the photographer and videographer because those are the only two places of your wedding that you will be able to keep your memories of that day alive forever. So don't skimp out and get the cheapest ones! Sarah was well worth the money and we would hire her again and again. She also did our engagement and my bridal photos and I loved every single one of them. I got married at Big Sky Barn in Montgomery and it was really important to me that I found a photographer who had shot there before and knew how to handle the darker features of the venue. Sarah and her partner knew exactly how to get the best lighting and directed all of us really will. Hire Sarah and you will have the most beautiful pictures that you get to relive your special day over and over again!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness and blemish removal to ensure they look beautiful.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-4 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
