Behind the camera, I am witnessing every detail that presents itself to me. I am a freelance photojournalist, second generation florist + floral preservationist and seasoned wedding photographer based in New Orleans. I have this superpower that helps everyone feel comfortable getting photographed, and I capture things just as they are. Years in the service industry carved a work ethic out of easy connections; I love to meet and work with new people. Planners, lovers, dreamers, welcome to the fold.

I photographed my first wedding in 2011, retired, returned and learned a lot since. My mission as your wedding photographer is to tell the beautiful story of your wedding day with the people you love casually, candidly and carefully as the events of the day unfold.

A Non Traditional Route

Description

Your plans include a short and sweet ceremony followed by a quaint celebration. This package is perfect for eloping or taking the destination getaway route. You can still expect a full gallery of couple portraits, intimate moments, candid family shots, staged group photos and more. None of my packages are written in stone, I'm more than happy to make our plans catered special to you.

First Look to First Dance

Let's utilize every minute! When you're ready for a first look until you're ready to slide into some comfort at the end of the night and all the details between, this plan is perfect for efficiently planning your wedding photos for the bulk of your timeline. Being on camera all day long can be a commitment, boundaries are okay! We will however, check all the boxes for photo shot lists with extra time to get editorial and intentional with our time.

Full Day Coverage + Second

Description

You want details and storytelling from hair and makeup until the dance floor is peak funk, we got you. With this kind of time together, every guest can expect to be photographed and this allotted time provides plenty of opportunities for candids. An assistant/second shooter is included at this price point, processing and developing costs additional for film. Perfecting the timeline, covering all the bases and executing a beautiful event to be expected.

    I've used Stephanie's services for two events, once for a wedding I coordinated and once for a pitch competition event. From initial outreach to post-edit photos, working with Stephanie is a pleasant breeze. She is a clear and prompt communicator with very reasonable pricing. She shows up on time, asks all the right prep questions and takes the loveliest photos. I HIGHLY recommend her services.

    Steph is an amazing photographer and an incredible person. My wife and I had Steph shoot our engagement photos and our wedding. She is very fun and easy to work with, and she's very capable of taking charge if you want her to, especially with family members. I felt like I needed a lot of direction for taking the photos, and Steph was really good at that. I might have felt awkward at times but the photos looked natural, thanks to Steph. She clearly has skill with a camera and the personality to match. She will make you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful, which is what we all want to feel on our wedding day! It was lovely to have Steph buzzing around during the whole day and we'll always cherish the photos she created for us.
