I’m Stacy Able, a professional photographer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. My passion for photography began with my Bachelor’s of Science degree from Clemson University in Graphic Communications. I specialize in local and destination weddings and have captured over 350+ celebrations. My photography assignments have taken me from right here in Indy My photography assignments have taken me from Illinois, California, Washington State, North Carolina, Florida, and New York along with international destinations such as: Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.

My style can be described as romantic and timeless enhanced with modern and photojournalistic influences. I use various Nikon and Sony digital cameras to tell your story. My work has been published in local and national publications.

    Best Vendor!

    I can't think of anything Stacy and her second-shooter, Walter, could have done better. They melted into the background when it was time for candid shots, they took command when people needed to be wrangled for group shots, and they went above and beyond to make the day as perfect as possible. The best example is Walter going and getting our dog from the hotel room so we could get some shots with him. The photos are beautiful too! As someone who is typically not very photogenic, I am amazed at how many gorgeous photos of me Stacy captured. 10/10, absolutely would hire again and we may travel back to the location of our out-of-day wedding in the future for her to photograph future milestones. Thank you Stacy and Walter!

Typically, couples book me about 12-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
In my 13+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers, typically my husband Walter is my assistant, depending on the size of your wedding and wedding package. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
