HEY, I’M RACHEL I’m so happy that you are here! I can't wait to capture your special moment, day, or just a fun photoshoot. I have a love for beautiful moments and a passion for photography that I’m so happy to share with you. Hawaii raised, California living. If you couldn’t already tell, I have such a passion and love for anything beachy and sunny. I was born and raised on the island of Maui in Hawaii and moved to San Diego for college. I just couldn’t escape beautiful weather and thought that sunny San Diego was the next best thing to being back home!

TURNING A HOBBY INTO A BUSINESS. I have been doing photography as a hobby since I was in middle school, but just recently turned it into more of a business within this year. I love getting to know my clients and being a part of their special day - whether that is a fun portrait session or an engagement shoot! I hope you will consider me as your photographer and a friend :)

Yes! I require a non-refundable $50 retainer at the time of booking to hold your photography slot. The rest of the payment is due the day of the photoshoot.
Yes! I use Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to edit all of the photos that I send to you in your gallery. Although I do not do extreme, in-depth Photoshop edits, I will be sure you look your best in each photo.
I use a mirrorless Canon R6 and a variation of lenses depending on the shoot. I change between a 35mm lens, a 50mm lens, and an 85mm lens.
I travel frequently within San Diego for my photoshoots but there is an extra charge for any travel outside of the area for a shoot.
Not at all! This is a part of my job to be able to pose you and I will help you every step of the way to make you feel comfortable posing in front of the camera.
I love a good mix of posed and candid photography. I want to make you feel comfortable and relaxed in your shoot and bring out your best self through the photos! My editing style is more on the light and bright side. I love colors, warmth, and natural light.
