How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Ideally, book at least 6-18 months in advance. This gives us ample time to plan and ensures your celebration date isn't already booked. However, we're open to last-minute celebrations too!

Do you provide guidance during the wedding?

Our experience in posing and direction helps create images that feel natural and full of life. We focus on movement-based prompts over stiff poses, allowing your true connection and energy to shine through effortlessly.

Will you edit all of our Digital & Film photos and Super 8 Video?

Absolutely! We will edit every single one of your digital photos, film scans, and Super 8 video footage. We believe that every moment captured deserves the same level of care and artistic attention to ensure your gallery and films feel cohesive and intentional.

Do you both use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in your editing process?

We take great pride in the fact that we never utilize AI in our photo editing process. While many in the industry are moving toward automated tools to speed up their workflow, we remain committed to a handcrafted approach. A human eye can detect emotional context that an algorithm cannot. We make creative decisions based on the feeling of a photo, ensuring your digital images blend seamlessly with your analog ones.

What happens if the weather is bad on our wedding day?

We embrace the unexpected! Bad weather often creates unique, beautiful moments.

Question 7

Do we both travel for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Most of the weddings we document each year are outside of our home state of Utah. We are open to any location. We do charge travel fees that can range from $300-$1250 depending where your celebrating. International travel may be a bit higher. We do not charge travel fees for the state of Utah.

Question 8

How long after the wedding do we receive our photos or super 8 video?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive a sneak peek within 48hrs, and the full gallery in 4-6 weeks. We ensure each photo is edited to perfection, capturing your day beautifully. For a super 8 video, we typically allot a 10-12 weeks turnaround due to the film lab we work with that develops your video. We will send you all of your photos before your super 8 video is finished!

Do you also offer video services?

Yes, we do! In addition to photography, we offer Super 8 videography services. Our goal is to capture your day in a way that feels like a timeless, romantic memory, one that is authentically you.

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We work as a dedicated photography team to ensure no moment goes unnoticed. By working together, we are able to capture your day from multiple angles simultaneously. This approach allows us to be in two places at once for example, documenting both partners getting ready in separate locations or capturing the wide, cinematic scale of your ceremony while also focusing on intimate, close-up candid reactions.
