I'd recommend reaching out at least 8-12 months ahead of your date if you want to lock things down, especially if you're planning a spring or fall wedding when everyone else is too! Peak season fills up fast, and I only take on a limited number of weddings each month because I want to give each couple my full attention. That said, don't panic if your timeline is tighter - I've had couples book just a few months out and everything worked perfectly. Life happens, plans change, and sometimes the best things come together quickly! I always keep my calendar updated, so even if you're working with a shorter timeframe, definitely reach out.
My typical delivery is around 75-90 photos per hour, but I don't get hung up on exact numbers because no two weddings are the same. It all depends on what you have happening, how much coverage you want, and those unscripted moments that make your day yours. Bottom line - you're getting all the best shots, and I'm not keeping any of the good ones from you!
I'm based in Northern Utah, but honestly, I love any excuse to explore new places! I regularly shoot throughout Northern Utah without any travel fees because these are my home turf areas - I know all the best spots and hidden gems. For destinations beyond that, I'm absolutely up for the adventure. Whether you're planning something in the mountains, by the beach, or even internationally, just know that I'm probably already excited about it! Travel fees would apply for locations outside my usual coverage area, but we can chat about all those details once I know where your heart is set on celebrating.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
In my 7 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
