Michael Parks
Hi! I'm the owner and lead photographer at ParksPictures. I am passionate about getting to know each client and personally capturing their uniquely beautiful wedding story. My clients are my focus. I value serving others and creating art that brings a little more light into our world. I live in Charlotte with my wife, two daughters, and french bulldog Cletus.
I'm a Certified Professional Photographer (1 of only 4 in Charlotte), winner of the 2021 Couples Choice Award, and published in Photoshop User's Dec 2020 issue. (personal information protected by Zola) ranked me as a Top Wedding Photographer in Charlotte. I earned my bachelor's at Virginia Tech and MBA at UNC Chapel Hill.

Professional, Organized, Kind, FAST.
The absolute best photographer and photos that anyone from our wedding has ever seen and that is coming straight from their mouths. And that is only after he sent us the first 31 preview batch of pictures THE MORNING AFTER THE WEDDING!!! Mike as an individual is amazing. He is kind, personable, professional, and so knowledgeable about photography. He was able to pose us for pictures to make us look even more amazing than we ever thought we could look on camera. He worked with our schedule which shifted several times day-of and never once hesitated to pick the camera back up and get to it when we were ready for him again. We worked with him for the engagement and wedding sessions and both were a delight. Most people find the pictures stressful for weddings. Mike made every session a whimsical bright spot that left us feeling confident and happy. Not to mention the looks on our faces when he pulled out a drone to do some shots during our engagement session!!! Totally unexpected, and possibly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. The pictures looked amazing when he showed us a couple right after taking then, unedited, day-of. The edited batch looked stunning. Every amazing moment captured perfectly with no exceptions. If you want a photographer that you can guarantee will do nothing but impress, reassure, and handle their job with ease and grace for any event? Stop looking and hire Mike now. I promise you will not regret it regardless of budget.

From the moment we first spoke with Mike, the owner of ParksPictures Photography, we knew we had found the perfect photographer for our wedding day. His communication style is professional, warm, and creative - he was a great listener and very proactive in understanding the specifics of our wedding to ensure he captured everything perfectly. Prior to the wedding Mike shared maps with us to understand the location of the photos and he also reached out to the church office manager to determine what was allowable in terms of photography during the ceremony. On the day of the wedding he provided excellent guidance during the posed family and friends photos, making the process seamless and enjoyable. The final photos are absolutely stunning - Mike has an incredible eye for detail and captured the love and joy of our special day in the most beautiful way. Stop your photographer search and hire Mike ASAP!!! We hired Mike for our wedding, and he was literally the perfect man for the job. He was incredibly helpful, hardworking, made sure our interests were put first, the photos were stunning, and most importantly, he is a genuine, compassionate person who wanted the best for us.
