Mirelle Carmichael is an award-winning, industry favorite, fine art photographer based in Southern California. As a full time photographer, Mirelle travels all over the US and worldwide for destination weddings. She specializes in high-quality publication-worthy photography for weddings, special events, and industry editorials.

Hi! I'm Mirelle. If you’re having trouble pronouncing my name, it rhymes with Pharrell (as in Williams… as in Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth!). I am an Arkansas born, San Diego raised, UC Santa Barbara educated Filipino-American with a French and Scottish name. Aside from fine art film based photography, I also love cooking, colorful textiles, reading, art museums, and quality beach time!

    Mirelle was amazing even before the date of our shoot. She was fun to dream with and always was flexible and responsive (communication is very important to me). She is very passionate about her craft and has an amazing eye. Mirelle is also very easy to work with. She’s fun to be around which makes any type of photo shoot less awkward! I would definitely recommend Mirelle for any type of event! So much undeniable talent.
