Bella Luna is a 50' modern classic motor yacht with spacious decks, both inside and outside with one of the best sound systems on the water. Bella Luna is a house dance party on the bay! Our interior salon has a food service area where you can set up your casual buffet style meals or snacks and a bar area for cocktails. Bella Luna is a US Coast Guard inspected and certified private charter yacht capable of comfortably accommodating up to 40 guests. She has been completely customized with safety, comfort, and style in mind! Bella Luna is a very versatile yacht that is fun for any type of wedding event, bachelor and bachelorette parties... and our Captain has even officiated several micro-weddings on board! Captain John is a US Coast Guard licensed 100 Ton Master Captain. He, and his professional crew, can help take care of your wedding event and make it unforgettable.

    Memories for a life time

    Bella Luna was a fantastic venue to host our pre-wedding party! John and I were married in Tuscany and many of our friends were unable to travel and attend our ceremony. We hosted a pre-wedding party on Bella Luna and invited all those who couldn't attend the wedding. All of our guests had an amazing time and are still talking about it. Bella Luna is the perfect venue that kept our party moving throughout San Diego Bay with a great sound system, lights on the boat, and watching the city skyline light up the night!

Due to our working arrangement with the San Diego Sheraton, our charter guests are allowed to park on hotel property. We will provide all of our charter guests who park on hotel property a green parking voucher that will reduce the regular parking rate to a flat $15 per care. Please ask the crew for a parking voucher as you disembark after your charter.
The chances are VERY slim that you'll get sea sick aboard this yacht. We stay within San Diego Bay, which is almost entirely landlocked. This means that aside from an occasional passing vessel that sends a short term wake, we are not subject to ocean swells. As such, our charters are usually very smooth rides and you hardly notice that we're even moving on the water. However, if you still feel that you are one of those highly sensitive people, it wouldn't hurt to take a non drowsy motion sickness remedy of your choice approximately 1/2 hour prior to your charter time.
Almost all of our charters are either self or professionally catered. If you wish to enjoy food and beverages while on your voyage, then a $150 Venue Fee is applied to your charter. This fee allows you up to an hour early access to the yacht (so, we don't actually charge you for THAT time aboard the yacht) to deliver, drop off, and set up your food and beverages. It also provides you with our crew to clean up during and after the charter. This is a one-time fee and not hourly.
Yes. We are very flexible in regards to bringing food and beverage aboard. We supply two very large coolers that we keep stocked with complimentary soft drinks and water. We leave enough room in those coolers that you're welcome to bring aboard anything else that you would like to keep chilled as well, including alcohol. If you will be bringing hard liquor, not just beer/wine/seltzer, we do have to provide a bartender to serve it for an additional $45/hour. We can also provide open bar packages, catering, or send a list of catering options.
Bring balloons, flowers, streamers, table cloths, linens, etc. Perhaps it would be easier to address what we prefer you do NOT bring. Please DO NOT bring confetti or glitter! These items are strictly prohibited and will not be allowed aboard. Please do NOT bring anything that can puncture the boat, such as thumbtacks or push pins. If you need to use tape for anything, please use ONLY painter's masking tape and NOT Scotch tap
This is a very fun party yacht. But, the party is ON the yacht, not in the water. Unfortunately, this vessel is not set up for anchor and play, as some private yachts are, because we are a commercial yacht. As such, our insurance premiums would be excessive and require a Life Guard on duty.
We have a two-hour minimum, but highly suggest at least three, especially for weddings. We will go up to five hours.
Lucky for you, Captain John is a Licensed Officiant and has performed many weddings about our yacht. For just $350 extra, he can legally marry you.
