About Michael Orzell Photography

Michael Orzell

My love for photography began over a decade ago when a good friend lent me his camera. I quickly discovered my passion for capturing the beauty of candid moments and the world around me. Outside of photographing couples, I enjoy downhill mountain biking, traveling, nature & landscape photography, hiking, and playing guitar. I live in East Hampton, Connecticut with my beautiful wife (Meg), our two dogs (Tucker & Diamond), and cat (Grace).

Michael was so great to work with from our first contact until the end! Our wedding was 9/1/23 at Harkness Park-Eiola Mansion, Waterford CT. He was so good with our 3 year old son and also corralling our giant family for wedding day photos! He captured clean and beautiful photos for both our engagement session and our wedding day. He was even able to get my husband to smile and loosen up, which is not an easy task! He got our album back to us quickly! I would recommend him to anyone and will be keeping him in mind for future family sessions!

Mike was up to our adventurous requests. Photographing our engagement photos, intimate ceremony, and celebration ceremony he did it all! Including braving the cold for our outdoor winter ceremony. Mike was very flexible with our requests, and guided us when we needed it. He was able to get our pictures we wanted and did not consume the whole night! He fit right in on the dance floor with his camera's in hand! Thank you Mike!
