Happiness 101 creates custom cakes and cupcakes in 101 baked from scratch flavor options. I believe taste and appearance are equally important when it comes to cake. I also believe the wedding cake and/or desserts are one of the most important components of a wedding reception. Many guests say "I'm here for the cake!" in jest, but there is definitely some truth behind that statement.

I come from generations of professional bakers and chefs. I've been baking since childhood. After hearing from family and friends all of my life that this is what I'm meant to do, I decided to give it a go and started Happiness 101 in 2015. Currently at eight years strong, business is booming and I'm quite proud to say that I've converted quite a few of the "I'm not a cake person" types to some of my biggest fans and supporters. However, as an alternative to tiered wedding cakes, I also do tiered cookie and brownie cakes too.

    I’m so glad I went with Happiness 101 for our wedding in October of 2025. I reached out requesting an artistic and romantic cake with colors of purple, blush, and white and she communicated back giving more ideas that further elevated the cake in the most perfect way. I also had her design our groom’s cake where we sent a guitar picture and she replicated it as a cake beautifully and well detailed. For taste, there were so many options and you really couldn’t go wrong with any of those options. She was even able to do a mashup for me so our wedding cake was a delicious lemon almond flavor. Our grooms cake was Black Forest which was a great chocolate option with a tart cherry filling that was gone within minutes at our wedding! We loved our cakes both visually and in taste and we would definitely recommend Happiness 101 for all your event’s sweet treats!
