We were really excited to work with Lace Makes Cakes after our initial conversations felt promising and collaborative. My fiancé and I were chatting back-and-forth about cake ideas and felt like we were on the same page, but then suddenly we didn't hear from her for two weeks. There were four follow up emails from us because we weren’t hearing back. When she finally responded, she let us know she couldn't help us with our wedding but wished us the best. It was disappointing because we had built up momentum and were looking forward to working together. I felt there was no consideration.

Made Our Elopement Extra Special

We had such a great experience with Lace Makes Cakes for our elopement desserts. From the start, the owner was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, making the whole process feel seamless. We ordered a 9 inch heart shaped cake and 12 white rose cupcakes for 150 plus delivery, and the quality exceeded what we paid for. The cake was as delicious as it looked, and the cupcakes were stunning with their shimmer dust and pearl details. She even delivered everything to our Airbnb on Anna Maria Island, which meant one less thing to stress about on our special day. We would absolutely recommend Lace Makes Cakes to any couple looking for beautiful desserts without the headache.

From our first conversation with Lace Makes Cakes, we knew we'd found someone special. She was quick to respond to our questions and worked with us to create a dessert plan that fit our budget perfectly, including a cutting cake for my wife and me plus a variety of treats for our guests. On the day of our wedding, she delivered everything on time and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. Every detail was thoughtful, from the flavor combinations to the presentation, and honestly, the desserts were delicious. We felt like she really listened to what we wanted and made it happen. We're already planning to have her create our anniversary cake!

I met Lacey a few months ago at Bradenton Art Market and immediately knew by her warmth, care, and amazing cakes that’s who I wanted to make my birthday cake. She did a phenomenal job bringing my dream cake to life and was very flexible with my schedule for pick up. Not only was the cake better than I had imagined, it was a delicious cinnamon swirl cake with buttercream that won over everyone at the party. Thank you so much, Lacey, for the fabulous cake!! I’m already looking forward ordering from her again! 🤍

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying many of my friend’s sweet treats, and every single one has been absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing homemade desserts.
