Welcome + thank you for stopping by! I am so glad you're here! I'm Maria Love Mattera- my middle name is not Love- however I wish it was .. haha. I truly LOVE capturing love + beautiful moments in time- the funny, emotional, happy, candid and everything in between. Mom to 2 of the most loving + beautiful girls I have ever met. Wifey to the love of my life. When I am not documenting a love, I am wrapped up in my own love story, making memories w my loved ones. My favorite things in life in no particular order are butterflies, new age spirituality, romantic movies, yoga, star gazing, chocolate, the beach and laughing.

You can rest assured that every love story I document, my aim is to capture as if it were my very own + for you to be totally in love with your photos. Clients have described my style of photography as dreamy, yet editorial + documentary, as well as a mix of fun + evoking emotion. As a natural light photographer, I LOVE playing with light + it truly excites me to use it creatively. Having shot approximately 1000 weddings by now, I have been blessed to make many life long friends.     Lovely to work with

    Maria was great to work with. We are both a little camera shy, but it was easy to feel comfortable with Maria and her assistant Alyssa. We got back so many photos, and they are all so lovely! I like that she is transparent about her prices on her website, and you get so much in your package. Hire Maria if you want to love your photos and have your memories captured beautifully!

    Photographer that goes the limits!

    I cannot say enough about Maria! We first met at our engagement shoot and knew we made a great decision. She did an incredible job with the photos and helped us feel comfortable. We developed a great relationship with her. She is incredibly kind and truly cares about her customers. For our engagement shoot and our wedding, she did a great job capturing pictures that felt like us and didn’t feel staged. She was so open to letting us try fun ideas we had. She clearly loves what she does! She got us sneak peaks with a week or two of our shoots. We are incredibly grateful and beyond happy that we chose Maria as our photographer!

Yes it's always me- Maria as the main photographer & one of my amazingly talented second shooters to cover your day fully & more efficiently. This way you both get to go to cocktail and truly enjoy your day and party to the fullest! I am sure you have heard it many times by now- the day goes by way too fast.
I like to send a few teasers- about 20 images within 48 hours ( I have been known to send a few the night of if I don't have to be up early the next day- shhhh- haha). Full set of 125 teasers 7-10 days. Full set of edited images 3-4 weeks from your date.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them or to you if you prefer.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I aim to deliver a full set of images that you will love looking though for years to come!
In my 14 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Yes however what we offer is a bit different from traditional wedding video service. We offer a condensed cinematic highlight wedding film. This type of film includes the highlights of your day and are artistically created then sewn together to be enjoyable and to watch over and over again.
