Hi, I'm Maren! I was born on Long Island, but my dad was in the Navy, so we moved 11 times during my childhood – including Chicago, D.C., Hawaii, London, Mississippi, New Orleans, and San Diego, Basically, I have a compulsive need to travel and create, a deep appreciation for planning, systems, and communication, plus the ability to make friends wherever I go – skills that have served me well in my career as a wedding photographer (thanks dad!) After photographing my first wedding 10 years ago, I immediately knew it would be my career. I love that I get to travel, meet, and photograph so many amazing people on the best day of their lives.

You can count on me to give you the best advice and direction about alllll of the things – from timeline planning, to lighting, to location scouting. When you book me, you’re getting more than a photographer – you’re getting a friend. A friend who is invested in telling your story and a friend who’s got your back every step of the way. My photographic style is understated, classic, and honest. While I love making pretty photos (and don’t worry, there will be plenty of those, mom & dad), what really ignites my creative little soul is documenting how you felt on your happiest of days.
