Hi! Lucky Lane is a locally-owned photography business focused on capturing life's moments with authenticity, joy and vibrant color! Whether it's the candid behind the scenes, a perfectly posed portrait, a grand celebration or a quaint backyard "I do!" ...the biggest laughs, the tiniest happy tear (or even a full on cry!), I love to freeze the memories you'll want to look back on forever!

I always want couples to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera while also being exactly who they are! Wedding days are exciting and amazing and so much fun but they can also sometimes be... anxious, overwhelming & stressful! Having transitioned full time to photography from an initial career in mental health & education, I am comfortable juggling all the many details, tasks, moving parts, timelines, people and emotions that weddings can bring with a calm, reassuring, go with the flow approach... while still making sure we're seamlessly fulfilling your photography wishes!

    Mother of the Bride

    We were nervous about our rainy wedding day, but Kristin from Lucky Lane Photography made us feel comfortable from start to finish. Her thoughtful approach and kind demeanor put us at ease, and she kept us informed every step of the way. Despite the weather, Kristin's artistic eye and creativity shined through in our photos—they turned out absolutely beautiful. She went above and beyond to capture the perfect shots, even when conditions weren't ideal.     Lucky Lane Photography is my favorite

    I could not recommend Kristin enough! She is practically like a member of our family and knows all the tricks to get the best photos.     Family Photos

    Kristin has taken our family photos for years. She has also taken sports photos for both of my daughters and photos of my oldest daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday party. Kristin is kind, creative, and a true joy to work with. I recommend her to everyone I know.

MOST people I come across, are anxious to get great images but also worried they don't know how to do that. SO many couples tell me, "we aren't models". Me neither friends and neither are the majority I work with! I will work to give simple direction, ideas how to stand or pose while also not asking clients to do anything that appears forced, awkward or unnatural in the final result. I want couples to both be comfortable & look comfortable! I will work with you on achieving this and maybe, *hopefully even saying "I actually had FUN during pictures". I also strive to be relaxed but efficient so you get back to celebrating!!
