Our goal is to provide a million dollar outside wedding site at an affordable price AND treat every bride like she is our own daughter. In the 1950’s thru the mid 1970’s the site was known as Motts Run Landing, which provided access to the Rappahannock River for families, boaters and fishermen by day and a local lovers lane by night. In 1979 Gene & Linda Clore purchased this 2 ½ acre slice of heaven and dedicated their lives to the fun and pleasure of those who wished to enjoy the Rappahannock and Rapidan rivers by canoe. Because of it’s natural beauty a friend of the family, in 1993, requested to have their wedding overlooking the river. Thus was the inception of Riverside Weddings. After a few years of one or two weddings per year with family and friends (and friends telling friends about our enchanting spot to get married) it was obvious that we had become “Riverside Weddings by Clore”

The Market at Grelen is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest venture, The Grelen Depot. With historic preservation, art and beauty in mind, this versatile property was thoughtfully renovated and designed by Grelen Co-Owner, Leslie Gregg. Her objective was to enhance the charm and character of the lovely Main Street by creatively restoring this classic old-world structure situated in the historic town of Orange, Virginia. The Grelen Depot boasts high ceilings, ample natural light, an art gallery, bar and lounge areas as well as a loft space with a range of seating options. We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 18 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories.
