    Beautiful Wedding

    Hosting our wedding here was a delight! The venue, food, and organization/suggestions of Amy Rapaport-Carper made our event spectacular. I highly recommend this venue for your next event! Our guests were greeted by a well organized staff who provided food and drink in classy parlors decorated with fireplaces and wood furniture. Meanwhile my new husband and I took photos on the grounds and were hand delivered Whiskey down by the river! Once we entered the building a receiving line (as suggested) allowed us to greet each of our guests and usher them into the ballroom. The tables were set beautifully and our guest enjoyed salad/bread while they waited for the buffet to begin, which was delicious! The venue allowed our music/dancing to be managed by aux plug and a wireless microphone. Throughout eating/drinking/dancing the staff managed plates well, served generously and overall the service was excellent. Our grand sparkler exit was suggested/managed by Amy's team spectacularly. We were glad to work with Amy and her team was fantastic. We recommend this for your wedding or event!

    Perfection!

    I had my wedding reception at the Fredericksburg Country Club in August 2019. I had a rather large reception, and it was a little confusing in the last month of planning because of the number of international/traveling guests - no matter how many times I emailed Amy, called her, texted her she always was prompt and professional - honestly if I sent her a smoke signal I truly believe she would have responded quickly while still managing to quell any anxieties! If you haven't been to the country club, while the pictures are beautiful, they do not do the place justice. When planning our wedding we wanted a place that was very "Virginia" and classic. With its vaulted ceiling in the ballroom, the wall of windows facing the rappahannock river, the beautiful parlors, and pristine grounds, this was exactly the place! I can not speak on how highly I recommend the FCC for any event - they will help you meet your dreams effortlessly.

To secure your date you must give FCC the signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of the FULL venue payment. All dates are a first come, first serve basis.
Rental of the Ballroom includes 150 banquet chairs, (20) 60” Round Dinner Tables, (9) 8ft Rectangle Tables,(8) 6ft Tables, all china, silver, and glassware for your wedding.
To book we require the FULL venue payment. 50% of the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your wedding. 25% of the remaining balance is due 30 days prior. Final Payment is due 1 week (7 days) prior.
Your final guest count and menu selections are due 10 days prior to your special day.
We offer our dressing rooms to be used for up to four hours before the Ceremony to use for bridal prep. For the room rental you may have venue access up to two (2) hours prior to the start time and one (1) hour post end time. If you would like to purchase additional time you may do so at $300 per hour.
Yes, we encourage tastings! We offer private tastings, by appointment only.
All decor must be approved prior to your wedding date. Vendor lists, vendor insurance, and all set up information must be provided to Fredericksburg Country Club Director of Events. FCC requires the following details 10 days prior to your wedding day: all set up and break down, deliveries, requests, and floor plan. We do not allow: confetti, fireworks, glitter, open flames, or birdseed.
Yes! We will charge a $300.00 set-up fee to have the cash bar open for your guests. We accept cash and all major credit cards.
Our formal Ballroom will accommodate up to 180 guests with a dance floor and up to 200 guests without a dance floor.
