I’m a San Diego native though my family is Costa Rican, and our culture has greatly influenced my passion for life. ¡Pura vida My desire as a photographer is to capture those happy, often understated moments in life that make our hearts beat. After all, the camera can do more than paint a portrait – it can document a feeling and make it tangible.

The passion I have for my craft is what I strive to cultivate in each session, and that’s what truly brings life and color to my photographs!     Pregnancy photos

    This was our first time having professional photos and I’m so happy they were done by Gia. She’s Incredibly professional, gave great direction, had a fast turnaround time and the photos came out so beautiful. I recommend her to all my friends!!

    Makeup Artist

    I got to work with Gia on a wedding where I did makeup. She had great energy, was professional, easy going, and so fun to work with. I never felt rushed getting everyone's makeup complete, she just hopped in and took photos while I made the girls look perfect. Her work is beautiful and the photos turned out stunning! She is definitley on my preferred vendor list and I look forward to working with her again.
