How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 50 to 70 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

What is required to book?

A signed contract and a retainer secure your date. The remaining balance is split into manageable payments leading up to your wedding.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Yes! All of my pre-made packages include a trusted second shooter. I always recommend having two photographers so we can capture multiple angles, candid reactions, and those little moments happening at the same time. It helps tell a fuller story of your day and ensures nothing is missed.

Yes! I believe your photos should feel effortless, which starts with a smooth timeline. I help build a photo-friendly schedule so you can be present and stress-free on your wedding day.

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images easily. From there you can also order albums and prints.

Do you limit the number of weddings you take per year?

Yes. I only take on a select number of weddings so I can give each couple my full attention, energy, and care from start to finish.
