About Kelly Williams, Photographer

Kelly Williams, Photographer

Owner and Photographer

For me, photography is the art of visually telling a story within a single frame. I started out in life wanting to tell stories as a screenwriter. In 2010, I opened my own photography business in New York City. In June of 2026 I moved to Los Angeles. My training comes from the International Center of Photography and I have been published nationally in New York Magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings. While I have lived all over the world and originally hail from Florida, I am proud to call San Antonio home. I would love to show you the city through my lens.

A commitment to personal service is what sets me apart from other photographers. I am the photographer who captures every smile. I edit all of your images personally, and I even hand deliver your photos when I can. I hold your hand every step of the way, and am always here to help — be it questions about wedding etiquette or suggestions for dinner reservations for out-of-town clients.

Kelly is THE photographer you want in your corner

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Kelly -- before, during, and after the wedding. Having a postponed pandemic wedding party during a blizzard in NYC is no easy feat, but Kelly made it feel simple and special. There's that, the experience of it, but our photos are also stunning and unique. They look like us. That means the world. If you want a friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and creative photographer for your wedding (or whatever else!), Kelly is the person you need. It's not just the photos -- it's real care, support, and memories.

No, in order to work as unobtrusively as possible, I do not work with an assistant. My equipment is top of the line, light, and efficient, and I do not need anyone to hold a lens or to light a dance floor for me. I want to be able to move as quickly as possible to where the action is, and this is much easier if I am working alone.
Yes, I am insured through the TCP Insurance, and carry two million dollars’ worth of general liability coverage. I would be happy to share a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with you or any venue that is requesting documentation of my insurance coverage.
On average, you can expect 75 photos delivered for every hour of event photography, and 50-75 photos delivered for every hour of portraiture. However, bear in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
The best 20+ images will be ready to view within 48 hours and will be posted online for you to share. Final delivery of all edited images is within five weeks’ time.
I have a network of fellow photographers I can call upon, however, in my 13+ years of working as a professional photographer I have never had any emergency prevent me from getting to the church on time, so to speak.
No, I prefer to concentrate on the art of telling a story within a single frame. I do, however, have a list of professional videographers which I can refer to you.
Certain months – June, September, and October – fill up very quickly, and April and May are likewise popular months, especially for engagement portraits. For these particular months, try to contact me at least six months in advance. In general, you should book your photographer as soon as you know your date and venue.
All images are edited thoroughly in regards to color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure that you and your guests look their best. Also, if there are any distracting images in the background – my pet peeve is the red glow of exit signs – these will be removed. Extensive retouching services are offered at an additional charge.
