Joe Gaudet Photo & Video is a customer-centric photography and video content creation company based in St. Petersburg, Florida that serves major cities throughout the state. I primarily shoot weddings and portraits. As a photographer and cinematographer, there’s nothing that means more to me than capturing candid moments and memories that are meaningful and everlasting! I moved to Florida to focus on wedding photography, after a number of years as an advertising photographer, photoshop expert and broadcast television producer cameraman and editor.

I feel that my varied background in arts and entertainment, photography, video production and television provides me with a broad creative foundation, and allows me to have a unique perspective, full of fresh ideas and the motivation to create exemplary work. I've shot over 550 weddings, and I genuinely care about the couples that hire me, and trust me to capture the events of what should be the best day of your life.     I have worked alongside Joe for many years. He is hands down the most consistent, creative and technical professional I've ever had the privilege of working with. Not only do every facet of capturing moments go smoothly but Joe obtains results! His style cannot be duplicated. If you are seeking a professional that exceeds all expectations then look no further!

Brides typically call to book me at about 12-18 months in advance of their wedding date. So, I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to check my availability. But if you're scheduling a wedding without much advance notice, you should still contact me, since you never know when I might be available.
I will edit & enhance all of your photos, and I will deliver them faster than all of my fellow photographers: usually within 2-5 days. All photos will adjusted for color, hue & saturation, contrast, exposure, sharpness and skin smoothing to ensure they look perfect. For an additional fee I can do just about anything you want since I used to do photo retouching for record labels in Nashville, TN.
My degree is in Photography and Video Production, and I've been a photographer and videographer for over 20 years. So, I can shoot in either format, but not at the same time. However, as a company we specialize in offering both photo & video services for weddings. And when I'm shooting weddings alone, it's most often as the photographer, where I get to be in charge of the action and direction.
When it comes to the delivery of edited and enhanced photos, I believe I’m the fastest among my peers. You can expect to receive a link in an email, to download all of your high-resolution photos directly to your computer, within 2-5 days. I can also upload your photos to a gallery on my website, so that you can view and purchase prints of any size, format or style from Bay Photo Lab in San Diego.
I've shot over 550 weddings as a solo photographer, and because I work fast an assistant photographer is not necessary. Rarely are any two photographers styles the same. So, you end up with photos that don't make for a good, cohesive match. Having one photographer, and one videographer shooting a wedding at the same time is just enough, to ensure that we won't get in each others way.
I consistently average taking between 100-125 photos per hour. So, for a typical 6-hour wedding event, you can expect to receive 600-750 edited and enhanced photos, within 2-5 days, via a link to download in an email.
I’m a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and I carry a $2,000,000. Liability Insurance Policy. If your venue requires a certificate of liability insurance coverage, please let me know and I will them a copy of my policy.
I’ve been a wedding photographer since January of 2010, and I’ve never missed a wedding, not even when I was sick with the flu. And on those two days of back-to-back weddings on a Friday and Saturday, I made sure to keep a good distance between me and the wedding party and guests. I also lease a new car every 24-36 months so that I never have any auto issues.
