I’m Jessica Lauren - and I have been a wedding photographer here in St. Louis for the past ten years. All my years in weddings and here's what I can tell you - trends will go out of style, and it's important to me that your images never do. Your wedding photos will be ready to download, print & share within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day. But don't you worry - you will absolutely see sneak peeks before the full gallery releases, typically the day or two after your wedding.
I sit down with every single one of my couples and create a game plan for your coverage and timeline. We will talk through all the fun nitty gritty details!! A good rule of thumb is that if your wedding is all at one venue, 8 hours is perfect. For multiple venues with drive time, I recommend 10 hours of coverage.
I have an incredible line-up of second shooters that photograph weddings with me! As your wedding date gets closer, I can let you know specifically who they will be.
Engagement sessions are included in my traditional wedding collections. I've found that engagement sessions are essential to the experience as a whole! Not only does it allow us a chance to connect, but it also gives you the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera. Oftentimes this is one of my favorite parts of the experience.
Listen, I get it! I'm a photographer and can feel awkward in front of the camera!! You are so not alone, and almost all of my couples say this to me. I will help pose and guide you two through every step. My goal is for you to not only feel beautiful but feel like yourself! I promise that there is no possible way for you to mess this up - I've got you.
